My 2 and 4 1/2 year old kids love this toy. The concept is simple, easy one button push for to make it go and my older child can make it spin in circles and then aima it exactly where she wants it to go. It's cute, durable so far and easy to use. Great beginner radio control toy!

I bought this for my 3-year old's birthday, and what a disappointment! I thought that the simplicity of the toy would make it more fun for my son to play with it, but it just makes it very frustrating, even for adults. First of all, there is no standing position for the dinosaur. Once you turn it on, a very LOUD motor turns on and the toy proceeds to turn around and around and around. Without us even touching the remote. The only way to make it stop is to pick up the dinosaur and turn off the power switch! The remote is a joke: there is no way to control the direction the dinosaur goes in! What kind of remote "control" is that? It only has one function - a button you can press or not press. When you press the button, the dinosaur moves forward in whichever direction he is facing. But remember, that he has been spinning in circles since he's been turned on. So it basically ends up being a random direction that he heads off into. Then when you let go of the button, he stops moving forward, but continues his annoying turning in circles. My son had become very frustrated everytime we have tried to play with it, because basically, he can't make it go in the direction he wants. Finally, because the toy is in constant motion from the time you turn it on, it drains batteries faster than it spins! We had to replace batteries after just two times of play and we did not even play for too long. I have not bothered to replace the batteries and now my son just has an expensive foam dinosaur with which to do some imaginative play.

I purchased this for my 3 1/2 year old nephew at Christmas. After all the wrapping paper was ripped from the packaging, the fun began. I can say I was kinda surprised with the quality of the item, being a lot more sturdy and well finished than I anticipated.
After we popped in the batteries in the remote and dino itself we were off to the kitchen for a hard floor. After turning the dino on and placing it on the floor, we noticed it spinning in place. After my nephew yelling it was broken I pressed the button on the remote and the dino took off! Basically the spinning motion is to "aim" the dino, and pressing and holding the button sends him off in that direction. It was actually kinda cool since my nephew caught on really quick and enjoyed the speed and motion. The toy seems pretty well built, and the soft foam coating is a nice feature for both kids, and your furniture! I think the only thing I would add to this toy is dino sounds, but that's a minor thing and isn't a deal breaker for this type of toy.

:o ) Hours of FUN!
Our son, now 2, truly enjoys hours of play with his new dino pal! Runs circles around him, and goes straight when he pushes the button on the trilobite remote, a nice added touch I must say! The only drawback on this toy is that is doesn't move well on carpet.

I actually love the toy. It is cute and very well made. The idea behind it is that it spins in a circle until the 1 button remote is pushed and then it goes forward in whatever direction it ends up. It turns into quite a fun little game. My 3 year old nephew had a great time playing with it on Christmas morning. I wish it made some type of "dinosaur" noise, though. The noise it makes is the grinding sounds that most electronic toys make, but louder. I was very glad to see it had an off switch.

We purchased this for our 2 year old for his birthday. We was a little worried because it says ages 3 and up but he has no problem working it to make it go they just have to press a button that is all and if the button is not pressed it goes in circles he loves that it growls and the tail moves very good toy and he enjoys it a lot.

great educational toy for toddler. Easy to operate. No sharp edges and seems to be quite durable.

Teaches kids dexterity and how to remotely control the dino to go where you want it to. Battery life is good. Easy for a 2 year old to operate.

I was lucky enough to be given this for free. My kids have had a lot of fun for an hour making him go in circles and trying to direct him one way or another. But then, the fun was over. They have not touched it since. They are 4 and 7, so maybe they are too old?

Fun but it doesn't stop spinning until you hold down the button to make it go. It's very noisy noisy & doesn't have an auto shut off if left alone. This could be difficult for a little one to figure out. My son and his friend like it only for short periods of time. It's very easy to get sick of. Fast shipping though. :(
