The product is more flimsy than it appears. After only a few flights, the wings and propellor broke. I bought it for my nephew who enjoyed the first few flights but was then devastated when he was left with a broken toy.

A bit overpriced (twenty four ninety nine) but the fact that it is charged by the hand crank is quite cool. And in contrast to the other review (as of this writing), it does indeed fly. In fact, the wind caused it to soar high above our two story house. It reached the tree branches and I started praying it would not get stuck in the trees, and then it glided to my neighbor's roof, where it is now stuck :(

My grandson loved the plane but within a 1/2 hour a gust of wind caught the plane and when it came back down the styrofoam was no match for the fall back down --- the manufacturer needs to sell the plane separately at a reasonable cost to replace the ones that break that would at least make the initial investment worthwhile

I have bought this after lot of good review, but honestly this is waste of money. It came on mentions due date so no complain about delivery date, but it worked only for couple of times and to be more precise it did not cover the distance as shown in video. After those initial flying it hardly flies now. So my suggestion is stay away from it

I bought this toy for my 6 year old nephew. It takes some practice to get it to fly any amount of distance, but he enjoyed it for several days. It was starting to break after 3 or 4 days. but that was just the right amount of time for us. We both loved the wind-up aspect, rather than batteries.

This toy is a new take on an old idea. The crank and propeller work very well. It's a bit touchy to get the airfoils adjusted properly, but when you do, it flies pretty well. Not too sure yet about durability, since it crashes a lot. Find a large field.

AMENDED REVIEW
Since my original review below was posted I worked with the customer service staff at Kid Galaxy to see if I could get a replacement. Throughout my experience with them, the Kid Galaxy customer service staff was very pleasant and also very responsive. They did indeed provide a replacement - however - they provided the Dyna Flyer Sky Dart instead. In direct contrast to my experience with the Air Streak, the Sky Dart has been working very well and as advertised is flying with great range and altitude for 30-40 seconds at a time. It does not work well every single charge but for at least 50% of the charges my son and I are experiencing great fun with this product. Thanks much to the Kid Galaxy customer service staff for their responsiveness.

Based solely on the product video provided by the manufacturer, I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He wanted an RC helicopter but I did not feel he was ready for this given his age (7). Once I saw this video I thought this would be a really great alternative. Unfortunately, similar to at least one other review here I was unable to get this plane to fly more than 3-4 feet in the air before it unceremoniously crashed into the ground. I called the Customer Service department at Kid Galaxy and they were very helpful and suggested I adjust the rear flaps to give the plane more lift. I tried this and unfortunately this provided a bit more lift but not much - certainly not enough to make me satisfied with this product. Overall, this is what I would expect from a cheap hand glider, not anything [...]! Not a good value at all in my opinion.

Fun toy, although we're having trouble getting it to soar more than a few feet - although the "motor" keeps going after it lands/crashes. But it hasn't broken. I'm still hopeful we might get it to really soar, with practice.

I got this for my son for Christmas and am so dissapointed. It goes about 5 ft and then crashes into the ground. The propeller keeps moving for 30 seconds or so but it does NOT keep the plane in the air. In addition the cheapo foam that the body and wings are made of is like mcdonalds toy quality and not worth the twenty five dollar price tage. On my sons plane the wing already had a crease in the foam when it was inside the package. Crappy product. Now I have to return it and find him a better Christmas present. How dissapointing!

Well, I bought this as a gift and I heard through the grapevine that it was a frustrating experience for a certain nephew that ended up in a broken plane.
