Kid Galaxy "My 1st RC" Train

The turn button didn't work. It would only go straight.
The motor is also very weak. It wouldn't work in a room with carpeting.
I'm very disappointed with it.

Got this one for my Son in August. Worked for about a month of lite use. On First set of batteries that first month, the gears started stripping and it would not turn. It just goes strait and makes a bunch of noise. We are trying to return it for a refund.

My wife and I bought 2 of these "My First RC" vehicles for our twin daughters, this train (49 MHZ) and the bus (27 MHZ). The bus worked great. Could get a good deal away (at least 10 feet) from the remote before it stopped moving. However, the train does not work all that well. It would travel maybe 5 feet before it would stop moving (losing it's signal). We sent it back, thinking it was a defect and got the 2nd one today. Not only did the 2nd train have the same distance problem, it didn't even make the train sounds like the 1st one did. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think that the train would go much further being that it is 49 MHZ vs. the bus that is 27 MHZ.

Anyhoo, we're preparing to send this one back for another exchange in hopes that the 3rd time will be the charm.

Purchased for my 23 month old son. He loves it and he can use the remote with ease. Great for a 1st time remote control car for a toddler.

It seems to work fine. at one point it 'somehow' drove down a flight of stairs and is fine. takes a ton of batteries but I haven't had to replace them as yet so I don't know how long they will last.

This toy has a great kid design: soft body, rounded corners, 2-button remote. Unfortunately it didn't work. Even standing within 3 feet of the unit it would lose the signal, move a few inches then stop. Tried fresh batteries. Tried wood/tile/concrete floor. Exchanged it (twice!) and had the same problem with all 3 trains. I began to wonder if my house had some kind of freaky electromagnetic field, but when we took it back to the toy store, it didn't work there either. The owner was cooperative and sympathetic, and also embarrassed, and said he wouldn't carry this product anymore. We kept the third train but my daughter got frustrated with the sporadic functioning, and when we turned it off she wasn't interested in playing with it. So it went in the trash. I'll look for another RC toy not made by Kid Galaxy.

Quick shipment, item as described. My two year old daughter LOVES this train. Great entertainment and turns VERY well, on a dime! Unlike other remote control toys, this one does well on carpets :)

I bought this train for a friend's 3-year old son and he couldn't stop playing with it! the toy is rubber soft and safe for children. the remote control is easy to use. Great product!

I bought this for my 5 year old son's birthday. He loved it, but did complain that it was too slow. On the other hand though, it has still not broken even with how rough he can be with his toys. Definitely a good r/c vehicle for toddlers.

We purchased this for our 2year old for his birthday and he has no problem operating it and it does not hurt furniture or people when he runs it is to things. It is sturdy and flexible good toy my son enjoys it a lot.
