This is my first K'Nex purchase for my 4 year old son. I knew there weren't a ton of pieces when I ordered it but I wanted to buy a small amount just to see if he liked it. He does! He has enjoyed creating all different kinds of creatures and vehicles. I do feel that I paid up for the cute container. If I had to do it again I would but a "starter" kit in a plain box.

This is our first experience with Kinex and we are very pleased. Our boys ages 3 and 5 both have spent hours making creations. It comes with two sets of eyes, which is important for two builders to work at once. Only one nose piece, but that is the only complaint. This toy is fun for a wide variety of ages and personalities, the possibilities are endless. Now we just need more pieces...

My 3 1/2 year old son loves to build things, so this toy has been wonderful for him. He has played with this toy almost every day for 11 months. He loves showing off his creations which become more creative each day. As a parent, I really enjoy having the carrying case to keep all the pieces in.

The pieces are also virtually indestructable. As I said, my son has played with this toy almost every day for some time, and all the pieces still look practically new.

My son got this as a gift for his 3rd birthday a week ago and he loves it. It's great for a family activity. Right now he needs help getting the correct pieces to build the character. As time goes on he will be able to do it himself. I enjoy building the things as much as he does.

The case is very cute and durable. The pieces are great for Dalton's little hands and are easy to put in place. I highly recommend this for a three year old.

I bought these for my sons 3rd birthday and hes still playing with them at 5. They are one of the few toys that are a constant hit at our house. We have several sets and he loves building his own creatures or copying them from the enclosed books. Great for the imagination. Still never had a broken piece after 2 years.

I bought this toy for a screaming deal on amazon and then the price dropped so I got it for $6. Also when I received it there was a bonus pack attach. Thank you amazon. My children play with it for hours on end. There are so many different creatures they can create.
