cool film RIP Gary Coleman,

i dug this film back in the day and it was cool for it's time period. very wholesome. i don't think some folks realize the ground breaking work that Gary Coleman paved for Kids in tv and film that came after him. the guy was important to Tv and then he had a good career with film. very charismatic and he left a impression.

I loved this movie as a kid and wish I could find it on DVD now.
Great film and great baseball film as well. Even the cat's name is Debru. That's "D" for Dimaggio, "eb" for Ernie Banks, and "ru" for Babe Ruth.

A nice slice of 80's wholesome movies,

Gotta love this film for it's tackling of certain social issues... social services doubt the ability of a single-parent father. You don't have to be a fan of baseball to enjoy this film either. See Gary Coleman (Arnold) in a whole new role. Feelgood factor at it's best and great 80's fun!
