Children's music with an edge,

It's great to hear children's music with diverse voices, keys, time signatures, instrumentation, music styles. Even babies can appreciate music that isn't in a major key in common time and based on 3 chords. In fact, it's really important for kids to be exposed to a variety of musical styles and sounds. These songs cover a wide terrain while retaining g-rated content.

I love this CD. I had heard it previewed on NPR and bought it the same afternoon last year, and am still enjoying listening to it. I have no kids, but the ingeneity of the creator of this project and the students and musicians involved is awesome. It is so fun to listen to.
