I made the mistake of first purchasing the wrong software. This is the one for Windows Vista and I have a 9 yr old boy that is thrilled with it. He has wanted this for 3 yrs since he played it in school. I didn't realize that it was available for purchase. I have never seen it in a store and was thrilled to find it on Amazon. It is really fun and I must admit I have played with it as well !

Installed this on a Dual Core machine with Windows 7. Easy to install. Kids had no problem using it to make art and print. Still great after all these years.

My daughter used this at school and really wanted to play with it at home. We have had it since Christmas and both our kids (6 and 8 years old)LOVE it. It is easy to use and they don't need any help from us. Lots of fun for a great price.

My son kept coming home talking about using Kid Pix at school. Decided to get him a copy for home. I didn't have any problems installing it, the only thing I don't like is it has a big black border around the app and doesn't have built in stretching to fill your screen. Other than that he loves it and has drawn several pcitures for us.

My kids use this software in school, so I purchased it when they got a laptop for Christmas from their grand parent. They LOVE it....I haven't even played with it because they alredy know how too from school. It's the first thing they do when they get on the computer.

My 8yr old son got this for this Christmas and he loves it. He uses the same software at his school. He has already used this to do school projects.

Installation took some time as the DVD drive on my son's desktop didn't read the disk - had to copy the files to a USB on a different PC and installed using that - after that no issue install. Installed on a XP machine (it is not for windows 7)

I remember using this program ages ago (older versions obviously) when I was a kid, and I'm proud to now be able to let my children use it. My 8 year old has already used this program in school, so he knows how it works, and he was very excited when I installed it for him at home.
Price is far, program is easy to figure out, cant complain.

We bought the game before buying the computer. It will not run on the new Windows 7. It was a huge dissapointment for our little one.

Our granddaughter played with this when she learned to use a PC at around 3 or 4. I just re-purchased it and she still loves it at age 9. It's all too easy to be creative, and loads of fun!

This is a good creative game, well I guess it is not really a game. Lets the kids imagination run wild. Grandson age 8 loves it
