I was intimidated by the previous reviews on this product, but after I got it, I loved it! I bought it for my 4 year old daughter and 5 year old nephew, but my 7 and 8 year old neighbors love it just as much. Reviews saying it was too slow are wrong! It is meant for use in a pool and goes plenty fast! I did invest in rechargable batteries so I can have it ready all the time.

This is a great toy. I bought this for my kids to use in our private lake. This is the best toy i have ever purchased. The box says for pool use only, but with our lake being really clean, I did not feel uncomfortable with the children using it. They love to swim and riding toys add more fun. I am watching them from the window and they are laughing and riding around. They are so HAPPY! As a mother, I looked at this before buying and I don't know how something can get caught in the motor. The cage around the propeller has very, very small openings. Thanks for making this toy. It is AMAZING and it will keep them busy for hours!!!!

My grandbabies loved it! I was so surpised that my three year old grandaughter had no trouble balancing herself at all. She was all over that pool, loving it. Her five year old brother started to do tricks with it. I had a great time watching the both of them have a ball with these great toys!!

my kid is 9 years old and he LOVES this cruiser. my older kids actually get in the pool and play with it too. they are 16 and 19. it is safe and all around just a great item. its inexpensive too! ---probably one of the kids most favorite toys!!

We were so excited about this toy. The kids love riding on it. It was surprisingly slow, but the kids don't seem to mind. Thinking of buying another just so they don't have to take turns.

Last summer we bought two of these cruisers and both of them broke after only one month of normal use. The water squirt function quit working after only a week. My kids LOVED them, but for the price these cruisers are, they need to be built to last.

This looks great on tv, but does not go fast at all. It was easy to put together, but in the pool we could not tell if the wind was pushing us or the motor. It was also hard to steer, we went in lots of circles. We returned it the same day we bought it! Save your money for something else!

I purchased this originally for my 7 and 9 year olds. They love it. Love squirting each other and have no problems staying on and never tip it over except when big brother pushes it over on them. Batteries to me seem to last an exceptionally long time for what it does. I will try to find some rechargable ones though. It does move kind of slow but for a child in a pool I wouldnt want it to fast and the kids love it so not a problem for us. My 2yo daughter had to try it and I was a little nervous because of the reports of it tipping and such but she got on it and took off. was able to squirt the water at her brothers and sisters (we have 8 children) and she was able to steer it without any problems at all so not sure about others that said it just went in circles.
The weight is about 80 lbs or 100 dont remember for sure. I can say that I did ride it and it still moved but slow and I am not a light weight. My 14,15 year olds also rode them and they were able to go around the pool mostly laughed about it but had a ball and were squirting everyone.
I say for the price (we got it for $[...]) it is an excellent toy more for kids under 12 I would think but 5 stars from all of us.

I purchased this toy for my grandkids. They love it!!! My grandson said "Thanks granpa this is the Best toy ever." It may not go too fast, for safety reasons I would think. And I purchased some rechargeable batteries just for the Racer (instead of spending so much on regular batteries). I read the other reviews before buying and maybe they did not use it correctly. Besides a picture of waves is just that a picture of waves, whoever would believe that it would run like an adult jet ski?

I bought this for my niece's 5th Birthday, and she loved it! My nephew (8) wouldn't leave her alone, he wanted to ride it. My brother-in-law got on it, and it actually moved him around. It is very durable, thick plastic looks like it will last a while. For the price, if it lasts this summer only, it is worth it.
