5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining video teaching kids how to stay out of trouble., October 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Kid to Kid: Staying Safe! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I got this video and gave it to my 9 year old. He really enjoyed it. It's got lots of music and colorful graphics and did a great job of keeping his attention.

The tape basically teaches young kids how to watch out for themselves, alot of it is the same message we give to our kids all the time: Don't take things from strangers, don't get into a strangers car, etc.

The program is narrated by a cute little girl named Nicole. The way the program is done is very good because the kids watch it and see a little girl talking to them, instead of just an adult lecturing them.

There is also some adult instruction by one of the "Sesame Street" cast, which was real helpful because kids are already familiar with her from watching Sesame Street.

The video doesn't just gloss over the dangers of what could happen to a kid. It shows real dramatized situations.

This is definitely worth getting to show to a child that you love and care for.
