The scooter is indeed slow, but we found it to be just the right speed for our 4-year old twins. They love cruising around the driveway on it.

The battery is a HUGE problem. Ours died in less than a year and it really is a huge hassle getting a replacement. As far as I know, you can only get one thru Pacific Cycle and when I called I am told they are on back order and they "hope" to have them in "in a few weeks". Try explaining that to your kids.

It's a fun toy, but if you buy it, start shopping for your replacement battery NOW so you have it when you need it!

Don't be fooled by it's pretty looks. It is soooo sloooowwww...and then you have to religiously charge the battery, or it dies, like it did on me. NOw I'm stuck w/ a pc of junk that only honks and blinks but doesn't run. i've been searching for a battery replacement for months. So far Pacific Cycle hasn't responded yet.

Its a little too slow.. but the upside is that you dont have to monitor even if the kid is riding in a parking lot ( provided you and your kid is careful with backing cars, as with any ride-on.)

The battery was our only issue, it needs to be recharged regularly whether you use it or not. The battery it came with pretty much started losing charge quickly in about 3 months. Not easy to find a replacement battery either... overall for its price, its pretty good.

Waste of money!! My 4 yr old loved it when she got it for her birthday because it was so cute , but it tipped over too easily, very unstable. It only runs on concrete, not on grass at all. And Yes, the battery did not last long at all....very slow, should have put it back in box and returned it after one week !! very disappointed, and certainly will not spend $ on a new battery to go 2mph...

We absolutely love this scooter and I would have given it 5 stars all the way except that the battery has died and I can not find a replacement anywhere so we are stuck with this expensive scooter that wont run. Perfect speed for small children, very cute design too. If anyone knows where to find one or how to rig a different battery to replace this one please let me know!!

I just bought this for my 4 year old niece because i thought it's a little bit unsafe for my 2 1/2 year old son. It turns out that my son got into a fight with my niece for the scooter and now he can't take his hand of the scooter. I ended up buying another one. It is very slow but as long as my son loves it.
