This is the best mattress pad I've seen yet! It is thick, soft, washes beautifully but best of all it fits the crib mattress perfectly without having to pull and tug on it trying to get it to fit only to have one of the corners pop off anyway. I highly recommend this. I wish I'd had this from the start.

Very plump padding that has a great mattress fit. Feels and fits better than other matress pads I've tried. One word of caution, be sure to tumble dry on low. I made the mistake of drying on a warmer setting and the waterproof lining stuck together. Took me the better part of an hour to pry apart.

Unlike many other pads on the market, this one is very soft and durable. It holds up great to washing, fits my baby's mattress perfectly, and appears to be very cozy for my little one.

This pad has all you need. The waterproof liner is on the bottom layer so it minimizes night sweating. Holds up to many washes and has large sides so you don't have to struggle with a small fit. I recommend this one highly.

I think every parent is tempted to make baby's sleeping environment as cozy and soft as possible. I certainly am. I was all set to buy this item for my baby's crib. But I did some research about the safety of crib products, especially through the SIDS Alliance and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Both groups advocate a FIRM mattress covered with a tight fitting crib sheet, and no padded mattress tops or soft mattress pads/covers. This is to prevent accidental suffocation if babies roll on to their stomachs and cannot lift their heads from the soft or fluffy surface. Please do some research for yourself before making a decision.

This mattress pad is so cushy soft and is more than adequate enough to repel liquids. It makes the mattress much more comfortable feeling, at least it does to my hand. It washes well, with ease, just be careful when drying, the plastic can scorche a little bit. I am very happy with this mattress pad, I plan to buy more.

I ended up with this mattress pad and a similar one from the same company that doesn't have a waterproof plastic liner. The pad with the waterproof liner after being washed on cold and dried in the delicate cycle, now has many small slits in the plastic that "water" can leak through. I also realized that my $100 mattress is waterproof itself, the mattress cover is plastic-like so I doubt if any "water" gets on it, it won't be ruined at all. I suggest buying the same mattress pad without the plastic waterproof liner instead, most of the crib mattress are waterproof anyway.

I tried a bunch of different mattress pads that are sold at our local Babies R Us. The UltraSoft is the only one that stays on the mattress properly and doesn't shrink when washed. I recommend this to anyone looking for a waterproof mattress pad. The only thing I've found wrong, is the vinyl will melt if you don't set your dryer on a low heat setting. This is the only mattress pad we use in our baby's crib now.

This is a really nice mattress pad, much thicker than all the others that I looked at but...like the last reviewer said, make sure the one you get has the vinyl backing on it. I purchased this from my local BRU store and got it home, washed and was putting it on the mattress before I realized it didn't have the waterproof lining. I returned it and only found 3 packages out of about 20 on the shelf that had the lining, all the others were just the plain mattress pads.

This is a wonderful mattress pad!! Not only does it have a waterproof backing, but it's thick and soft and adds a nice cushion for baby to sleep on. For the most part, mattresses are hard. I love the softness this adds for my daughter (she has slept better since I purchased it) and the protection it offers the mattress.
