5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product.
I make my own baby food and I got both the freezer trays and the travel dish, so that I can pack food for my little guy to take to daycare. It worked out great. The food fits from the freezer trays right into this dish, so every night I popped them out of the trays and into the travel dish and put them in the refrigerator. 2.0 out of 5 stars Very small dish
Our nanny wanted a three compartment dish so she could give our son a few different things at once for his lunch. We bought this online and were very disappointed in how small each little section was. It can fit maybe 1/4 of a jar of baby food in each section. It was too small to make oatmeal in one section. The spoon is awkward. The lid is hard to put on. The whole thing...

The whole thing assembles together with the spoon on the outside of the lid to keep the lid on and the little white handles on the side stick up and are hard. I was very disappointed in this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars convienent, durable, travel-friendly and easy to clean, May 24, 2009

we own one of these dishes and the corresponding baby food mill. the frozen food cubes created by the food mill fit right into the bowl, we microwave the food for about 30/40 seconds and his meal is ready. it's easy to clean, divides different foods nicely, and is just about the only bowl we use. the only other bowls we own are the take and toss. the lid and clip-on spoon also make the dish good for travel.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great but......, March 2, 2011

I have been looking for a sectioned bowls for my infant son to send to his daycare and to have his dinner made in case I can't get home in time to feed so all dad would have to do (cause we all know how great they are at following directions) would have to do would be just pull it out and pop it in the microwave to warm it up and feed. This is a great idea but the compartments are way to small. I use regular ice cube trays when I make my own food so the size of the frozen cube is too big to fit into this dish making the lid not fit. If you were to buy this feeding dish you would also need to get the trays that you use to freeze the food or else anything else wouldn't work.

Nice design, spoon stays clean, but the space for food is very small. May be ok for a baby just starting solids, but not enough for 8-10 month olds appetite.

This does the job.... i needed a bowl with more than 2 partitions. This would be awesome except for the bowls are not stackable because of the spoon holder build on top. Having said that, I really like that it has a spoon to go with. The lid also fits perfectly, but the food isn't always contained in it's proper partition. No biggie though!

This dish is very small. I was looking for something I could send to grandma's house with my 10 month old to include pieces of cantalope, avocado, or banana, etc. The sections would fit about two pieces of each. Way too small for my hungry little one.

These are great! I bought 4 so that I have them for a full day on the go and still have an extra clean one if needed. I also own the freezer trays so it's very convient to have the frozen food that's the same shape to just transfer into the feeding dish for leaving home. They seal great so there's no worrying about spilling. I would definitely recommend these for friends that are planning to make their own baby food, but it would also be nice for people who buy baby food and want to take a variety with them without taking more than one jar!

I wonder why this review page was asking me all of those questions about toys. Do people let their babies just play with food containers? Anyway, this bowl was very nice because it allows one to separate 3 different kinds of puree. This bowl keeps them separate as well. My complaint, as has been the case with other reviewers, is that the compartments are small. This worked well when my son first started solid foods, but as he got the hang of it and ate more this bowl had outlived its usefulness since we needed a larger container.
Another complaint that I would have is that the spoon goes into a plastic tube that is hard to get inside of to clean. Also, the bowl has funny plastic pieces that come up to hold the spoon. This makes multiple bowls take up a lot of room since you can't stack them.
I loved the way I could put ice cubes frozen in the same brand ice trays into these bowls the night before I would need to take my son to the babysitter and it would thaw in the fridge overnight. That was amazing! I wish there were a larger size option of this bowl. Maybe one that would allow you to put two cubes into each section so that they wouldnt have to change the ice tray. Just a though.

Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed, April 14, 2011

This divided dish with lid is perfect for my 9-month-old, especially as we're experimenting with new foods and wanting to give him a little variety with each meal. It's also great for sending with him to daycare for lunch. The sections are somewhat small, but they are still plenty big enough for a baby like ours who gets a lot of his nutrition from milk. In fact, we usually only fill each section about 1/2 or 2/3 full, and if our baby is having a really good feeding we might go back and add a little more of his favorite. Perhaps in a couple months the dish will be too small, but for now it is just what I was looking for.
