4.0 out of 5 stars Fun in the tub and it cleans too!
I bought this soap for my 4 year old brother, and he had a lot of fun making shapes in the tub. It only molds really well when the stuff is dry, but he was more interested in mashing it in his hands than molding it. My brother loves play doh, so he loved this stuff too. My only complaint is that it gets a bit sticky, but he seemed to like it that way. It's easy to clean...

Save your money and do not buy this! If I could give this no stars I would. My daughter was SO excited about this because she had seen it on TV. At first the soap is really hard to form, doesn't really stamp like they show, and makes a slimy mess on everything. Then it just starts to dissolve and quickly. I think she played with it 3 times before it all went down the drain (like my money). She wants me to buy more; I don't think so! It would make a great gift if you don't like the kids' parents.

I'd like to see more toys to use this with.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great... until it gets wet?, February 26, 2009

This product is utterly terrible. The only way to actually mold the soap or play with the tools is to make sure the soap is not in the least bit wet. Great product if you want to have your children play with the SOAP in a dry tub. But wait! That would be just like play doh then wouldn't it? As soon as this "moldable" soap gets wet it becomes a big slimy and sticky mess. You can't do anything other than try and scrape it off your hands, your children, the toys, and the tub. Oh yeah, and it sinks to the bottom and gets stuck - then proceeds to STAIN the tub. Okay, so being unable to bring myself to actually throw away the crappy soap I think maybe I'll just use it. It doesn't lather - not in the least. And did I mention that it's slimy and sticky? All in all, it's a terrible product. You and your children would probably be happier using Play Doh in the bathtub.

This stuff is gross! The soap doesn't come out of the mold and it took me 45 minutes to even clean it up once my kids were done playing with it. It is just aweful! Don't bother.

1.0 out of 5 stars CAUSED RASH ON MY SON'S SKIN- BEWARE, December 23, 2008
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: KidKleen Mold n Play Soap Small Kit (Refill) (Toy)
I purchased this for my son's bday along with the bath blizzard. I allowed him to just play in the tub that night since he was so excited about it, so I didn't bath him myself. He had a blast playing with the bath blizzard (which works 1/2 the time) and the soaps. The next morning when he was getting dressed for school, I noticed a terrible rash consisted of thousands of tiny bumps from his chest down to his belly button. The first thing I thought was the solution for the bubble maker. But then after inspection noticed the rash was confined to the one area. I asked him if he rubbed the soap on his skin and he said yes, right here and demonstrated a circular motion on his stomach exactly where the rash was. It was red and bumpy and itchy and took about 2 weeks to completely go away. My son has never had a reaction to any soap, laundry detergent or bubble bath so I don't consider him having sensitive skin. If you've bought this product or insist on buying it anyway- beware. And maybe consider trying it on your own skin first rather than subjecting your child to a rash. I'm thankful my son had only bathed his stomach and not his whole body.

1.0 out of 5 stars KID KLEEN MOLD AND PLAY SOAP A DISAPPOINTMENT!, November 19, 2008

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE MOLD AND PLAY SOAP, I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I TRIED TO CUT OUT THE SHAPES, BUT THE SOAP WAS VERY STICKY AND DID NOT COME OUT OF THE CUTTER. I TRIED IT WET, BUT THAT WAS WORSE. THE OTHER REVIEWS WERE CORRECT, IT DOES TURN INTO A SLIMY MESS. THE KIDS DID ENJOY SQUEEZING IT IN THEIR HAND, BUT THAT WAS ALL THEY COULD DO WITH THE SOAP. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed and caused rash, December 28, 2010

I was very excited for my son to get to play with this in the bath. He loves playdoh and dislikes bathtime. I thought what a great way to get him to enjoy bathtime. Not only was the soap a complete failure, it caused my son to break out into a rash. I just thank God that I was making sure he didn't get it on his face, eyes, etc. We would defintely have had a mess on our hands then! I would recommend staying clear of this product!

1.0 out of 5 stars Good idea...bad implementation..., October 14, 2009
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars

The only redeeming quality about Mold n Play Soap is that if you've been given this as a gift, you can use the tools with real play dough. The tools are decent, however, the soap is terrible, both as a toy and as actual soap. My 3 year old daughter was so unimpressed that after about 2 minutes, she was playing with ivory. I thought it was a good idea, but it is implemented badly as described by the other reviews. The soap does not mold and is useless in the tub. It sticks to the plastic so much that you cannot do anything with it and you find yourself spending an hour trying to clean the plastic parts. Water does not dissolve it very well. I had to break out a knife to scrape it out of the plastic molds. I think this went to market because people like play dough so much, despite the fact that it was obviously a terrible product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the kids.. for a while.., July 14, 2009

I bought the mold and play soap for my two kids. The molders were really really hard to use.. We only got one that wasn't to shabby. So they used their hands and created shapes with them... I suppose it got them clean.
