I am ordering our second bookshelf now! Great system that my two two-year olds actually use - no more books all over the floor. Better quality than I expected, although I don't think it will withstand one (or both) of them climbing up it. Holds a decent amount of books so I am ordering a second one for the bedroom. Only drawback, it does not work for small books since the books can not be seen. However, I'm just so thrilled that the piles and piles of big books are no longer on the floor since the conventional bookcase was just an invitation to pull everything off. Also, Little Wonders is a terrific vendor -- quick shipping and the product arrived in great shape.

Dad's review - I think it works great, nicely built and if you need more room, you probably have too many books anyway (most kids have a core group of favorites that are read night, after night, after night). But then again I hate clutter and this holds enough good books for my son!

Mom's review - This is a nice bookshelf, both in looks and function. It's sturdy and goes well with any decor. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit bigger, but if I need more space we can always get another one!

This sling bookshelf comes unassembled but is quite easy to put together. Anything I have purchased that is made by Kidkraft has been an excellent product.
My toddler has at least 100 books that she inherited from other family members and she loves to organize them in the bookcase. It is slim and fits snug next to any wall. All of it is made of wood except for the sling part that is made of a canvas material. The reason the canvas is convenient is because if you have taller or heavier books, it allows you to adjust for size.
It is convenient for small spaces, I recommend this for day cares and for parents of children who love to read.

I bought this bookcase for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who absolutely loves books. It is a fun for her to use for for easy access for some favorite books to look at. It is a good height for someone her age, but not not a child much older. The only bad thing is that it doesn't hold as many books as I thought it did. I originally bought it for her bedroom, but I think it might be better downstairs to hold books from the library and use a regular bookcase for the bedroom.

This slim sling book shelf is really growing on me! I needed a place to put my two toddler's growing book collection, but I've discovered it is a great place to stash their cardboard puzzles. I put the pieces in a Ziploc bag and all the boards fit neatly. I have approximately 30 books and about 12 puzzles in this sling! Very pleased...Sturdy and attractive. It was a little fussy to put together, but I wasn't ripping my hair out.

I bought this book display for my toddler, and we love it! It's just the right height for him to access the books we allow him to access, it's sturdy, and it looks really cute. The slings are too deep to display small board books, but my son has no problem fishing them out of the pockets.

This is a great for smaller children becuase they are very visual since they don't read. They are able to pick books based on the covers of books versus the binding. We could have used three of them though for the number of books we have. In all, I do recommend these though for kids ages 2-6.

I bought this for my 1 year old. Some of the reviews say you can't fit many books, and some say you can. You actually can get quite a few in there. Depth wise, you can fit 3 thick baby books into each pocket, so depending on the size of the book, 6-9 books a pocket.

It is a sturdy shelf that has a wonderfully small footprint in the room.

Great quality and does a great job if you only have a few books. Once you get more than 15 they don't fit. We outgrew this book shelf too fast for the money.

I recommend ironing the fabric before putting the shelf together!

If your child is young and tries to climb it and puts weight on it, it will snap. The bars are not strong enough. It's something I am keeping in mind with my rambunctious toddler. Of course I tell her not to climb anything, but you just never know!
