We really like the kitchen--it is made well, easy to assemble, and super cute. It has the phone, which our kids totally loves. HOWEVER...it is tiny. My daughter got this on her third birthday, and she is already taller than the refrigerator (and she's not especially tall). It's a micro kitchen, so we're a little disappointed. We were hoping this was a toy that would go the distance, but I can't see a five year old playing in a dwarfed little kitchen. If they made this 30% bigger it would be great, especially since then all the toys made to go with play kitchens (like Melissa and Doug cookie sheets that don't fit in our tiny oven) would fit.

Pros:
Small enough to be completely functional for my 18 month old.
Looks great in the dining room where we keep it.
It is Extremely cute! The color is a very nice red, and it looks really nice.
My son plays in his kitchen while I do dishes or cook, instead of hanging onto me.
The stove knobs click when you turn them, all of the doors open well, lots of storage space and shelving.
The faucet rotates, the hot and cold water handles turn (or can be used like soap dispensers which my son does).
It isn't a crazy colored plastic behemoth like other kitchens, which mattered to me.
My son's imagination soars while playing with this.
Cons:
None. I seriously love it and anyone that sees it wants it for their child instead of what they got.
Accessories I Got:
Melissa and Doug wooden pot and pan set (the red one): Look as if they came with the kitchen. The oven mitt and utensils that come with it are very nice too. A great deal and a great buy that fits in perfectly.
Melissa and Doug cutting fruit crate: It doesn't come with a cutting board, but my son likes trying to cut the fruit. sometimes he succeeds!
Melissa and Doug food groups: Are you kidding me with these low prices!? Very nice set, lots of wooden play food. We love them and my son pretend cooks them. Did I mention I love it?
Melissa and Doug magnetic kitchen bottle collection: The BEST! A lot of fun, my son loves them a lot. He likes to match the color tops, pretend to cook with them, and rearrange them in his cupboards.
I plan on getting some soft toy veggies later on too. I love this product and the accessories I got to go with it. This kitchen is the best, especially for younger toddlers! My son plays with it everyday and has a blast.

We bought this kitchen for our daughter's second birthday. It is very cute and she loves it. It was easy to assemble, however my husband and I have assembled quite a few things so maybe we are biased? My only complaint is that it is on the small side. The Melissa and Doug cookie sheet does not fit in the oven and I know another Kidkraft kitchen can accommodate it. Even though it is small it is perfect for our daughter and our townhouse. I would recommend this kitchen, however an older child would have to play on their knees.

This kitchen is almost as well made as our real kitchen. It's adorable. The microwave has a turntable that you turn from under! The knobs make a click when you turn them. The oven shelf comes out and goes back in as does the fridge shelf. It's so cute I can't stand it. She loves it. I like it MUCH better than the plastic ones I've seen, too. It's my first experience with Kid Kraft but I will get more from them. Someone wrote that it was on the small side. I would agree that it's a lot packed into the toy but it's more that there is a lot in a smaller area. Phone next to sink and stove etc. It's seriously adorable. I can't comment on durability cause we just got it but it's wood and put together with more screws that I could count. (Instructions make it idiot proof but it does take some time to get together). Worth every cent so far.

bought this kitchen for my nieces as a christmas gift. it is very well made. it is very cute. my niece is 2.5 years old and it is just the right height for her. i wouldn't buy it for an older girl (older than 4 years?) - it would really be too small. the only thing i wish it had were some beeps and buttons on the microwave.

It took a solid 2.5 hours (without eggnog!) on Christmas eve to put together. The instructions are very clear and very well thought out. If you read them and follow them to the letter the construction is flawless. Don't skip ahead, just follow along.
With some melissa and doug play food and kitchen ware, there are hours and hours of fun here in a toy that's so good looking I don't mind having it in my living room. AND it doesn't make noise!

My 2 year old plays with this kitchen EVERYDAY! It is very sturdy and I love that it is made of wood instead of plastic. It definitely took some time to assemble (about 1 1/2), but everyone who sees it is immediately in love with it! At a family party, the boys completely took over this kitchen, so don't let the color deter you! You will need to buy extra pots, silverware and pans for ultimate play, but overall, I feel this kitchen is a great value and will be able to be handed down (without being destroyed) when my daughter outgrows it in a few years! I highly recommend!

We have a screw loose....
We have had this for almost 3 years. My only complaint is that the screws always come loose. Other than that, it has held up well!

Awesome Kitchen
