We've purchased all of the KidKraft Holiday sets - starting with Shabbat. We purchased them from the time our kiddos were 2. They are now 6.5 and they STILL play with these. Educational value is unsurpassed AND they are beautiful to play with as well. Keep it coming.

The kids have been saying that they want to save them for THEIR children. Probably among the best toys we have purchased. Good for those who are "newish" to Judaism as well as those who are already steeped in the tradition.

I bought this for my son who is almost 3. He has such fun pretending to say blessings and pouring the wine and putting the different pieces on the seder plate. It is very durable, standing up to my very sturdy little boy. It really helped him to feel a part of the seder and learn what was going on.

We have KidKraft's Hannukah Set and really liked it so I got my daughter the Passover one as well, its play value is way more limited, they missed a ton of great opportunities with this set. The Haggadah is just a wooden block, how hard would have been to produce an actual book people. Along with the wine bottle, would it have filled them to make the top come off. The seder plate is good but all the pieces are the same size so I had to keep placing the items back in their right spot, easy fix would have been to make it more like a puzzle and have everything be just a flat picture of different sizes. As I said lots of missed opportunities... just buy a kid's haggadah and a plastic seder plate save yourself from having a bunch of heavy wooden objects in your house.

This toy is a must have for every Jewish pre-schooler. The items are very well made and the set is very complete - it includes a seder plate with all of the seder plate items (removable), 3 matzahs (1 is breakable for the afikomen), an afikomen bag, a matzah cover, a glass of wine, a bottle of wine, a wooden haggadah, and a storage bag. My daughter enjoyed hosting pretend seders in preparation for Passover. It would have been nice though if the haggada opened or had a wooden page to turn.

We also have the Hanukkah set and love it. We plan to complete our collection of Kidkraft Judaica toys throughout the year.

I bought this set for my not-quite-three year old son. As soon as I unwrapped everything he was engaged. I told him what each of the symbols on the seder plate were, and their Hebrew names. Within minutes he was matching the symbols to their correct spots and telling me what each was called! He played with the set for a solid half an hour, putting the matzah away and taking it out again, removing everything from the seder plate and then replacing them, pretending to pour a glass of "wine"...I would definitely recommend this, and the other wood KidKraft sets, for any family that wants to educate their children about Jewish holidays.

My daughter really enjoyed this toy. I got it for her when she had just turned 2, and it really helped us to teach her about Passover before the actual event. She was already familiar with the Sedar plate, the wine, etc, and had an idea of what was happening. I'm looking forward to using it for several years.
