The KidKraft Beachfront Mansion is a detailed, sturdily built dollhouse that includes four rooms, two balconies, and a manually operated elevator. Each room features brightly colored walls with images of wallpaper and other decorations. The house, which is scaled to accommodate 12-inch dolls, is decorated with 14 pieces of wood and plastic furniture, including a bed, sofa, and a toilet that makes flushing sounds. Storage space beneath the first floor accommodates dolls, accessories, and other toys. At more than 49 inches tall, the Beachfront Mansion offers space to play that can last for years.
Realistic Details for Inspired Play
The KidKraft Beachfront Mansion is inspired by real-life mansions, featuring details like a printed stainless-steel refrigerator, a printed flat-screen TV that attaches to the bedroom wall with Velcro, and an elevator that kids can move between the first and second floors. Silver stairs connect the second and third floors. The pink-and-white toilet has a button that makes a flushing sound when pushed, and the lamp in the living room lights up.
Accommodates 12-Inch Dolls
The Beachfront Mansion's doorways, rooms, and furniture are scaled to fit 12-inch dolls (sold separately). The dollhouse measures 33.1 by 13.8 by 49.4 inches (W x D x H), tall enough to stay with children for years.
Includes 14 Pieces of Furniture
The interiors of the bathroom, kitchen, and other rooms are established with composite-wood walls printed with wallpaper, cabinets, shelves, and other backdrops. The dollhouse also includes a kitchen table with two chairs, a bed with matching nightstand, a chaise longue and palm tree for the balcony, and a sofa with coffee table. Much of the furniture is made of sturdy wood, and all of it is coordinated to match fashionably with the house's beach-inspired décor.
Furnished Rooms with Storage Space Below
Each room in the Beachfront Mansion includes at least two pieces of furniture, with enough space left for kids to add their own personal touches. Beneath the house's first floor, sliding doors conceal a storage space that can hold dolls, clothes, accessories, and other toys.
Complex Dollhouse Takes Time to Assemble
Like most dollhouses of this type, this one took more than three hours for our testers to assemble. The instructions are clear, and the hardware is clearly labeled. One person could assemble the Beachfront Mansion alone, but it's easier to connect some parts when two people are present.
Our testers were impressed with the size and complexity of the dollhouse, which includes four rooms, two balconies, an elevator, and a set of outdoor stairs. The furniture is made of wood and is brightly colored, creating an attractive, imagination-inspiring environment for creative play.
