We are generally happy with the set. It's easy for our 19 month old to climb in and out of the seats by himself and the storage bin is handy. My only complaint is that the paint is easily scratched, and although the instructions state that touch up paints are available, I'd rather have the initial quality a little better. This wasn't what I would call inexpensive.

MY 3 YEAR OLD SON RECIEVED THIS SET FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND HE LOVES IT! WE USE THE GREEN STORAGE COMPARTMENT FOR ALL OF HIS ART SUPPLIES. IT HAS WHEELS SO IT'S EASY TO PULL IN AND OUT. WHEN HE GETS CRAYON ON IT, ALL WE NEED IS A LITTLE BIT OF PLEDGE AND IT COMES RIGHT OFF. I LOVE THE FACT THAT IT FITS TOGETHER LIKE A PUZZLE. IT'S GREAT FOR SMALL SPACES!

We have been very pleased with this table and bench set. Our daughter has used it for crafts, eating, reading, school work, etc. The reviewer who said her 2 year old leaned on the table and broke it must have gotten a defective one, because we've had this set for several years (maybe 5?) and it has held up very well despite being leaned on, sat on, stood on, and moved from one room of the house to another... never a problem. The finish has withstood crayon, glue, paint, pencils, markers; you name it! I have no doubt that the set will hold up for, at least, another 5 years for our baby when she is big enough to use it. The reviewer's son who broke the table must have been huge, because our 50 pound 7 year old and her friends still use this table and sit in the benches. Their legs are a bit long for the benches, but even at this age they don't "dwarf" it as the reviewer said her 2 year old does. It isn't small at all, so I have to wonder if that reviewer reviewed the wrong product. This really is a great set and worth the money. I wish they had the pastel colors back when I bought it; I would have bought that one instead of the primary.

My husband purchased this table, and it actually wasn't super-easy to set up like people said. It took him about an hour, possibly more. And he is handy. A lack of actual words and explanations in the instructions isn't helpful to putting KidKraft toys together, even though they are nice wooden pieces.

But my biggest complaint is what smells like toxic paint fumes off gassing from this product. We possibly purchased the table on backorder, so KidKraft may have recently constructed and painted this item, which means the new paint smell is strong. But I am worried about my 2 yo daughter being exposed to these fumes, so I am looking into returning the product. It's too bad b/c she likes it, and my husband is very proud of it, but I am more concerned about my daughter's health than another additional toy cluttering the house. I am not sure what kind of paint they used, but I am defn. going to look for natural, non-toxic items for the baby in the future.

We bought this table for our 20-month-old for Christmas. It was a big hit. She loves to sit at it and color and now eat her breakfast and snack. She can easily climb into the chairs and it is the perfect size for her but I can also see it growing as she grows. My husband found it easy to put together. Is easy to keep clean and seems very durable. Definitely would recommend it. Plus the way it all slides together, it doesn't take up much space.

This is a nice, sturdy product. It is well constructed and durable as well. It serves it's purpose fantastically as a snack table, for arts and crafts and for general playing with toys and reading books. The storage bin is very useful and helpful. The benches and the storage bin all fit so nicely and compactly under the table. I feel I got what I paid for this set and would recommend this product to other parents.

This set is so cute. Though it is recommended for 3 yrs. and up, I got it for my 15 month old. He loves it even though he still a little small for it. The benches tip over fairly easily when he tries to climb up by himself. This will not be a problem when he's a little bigger. I love the little pullout storage bin. It slides out so easily and is large enough to fit a bunch of books and toys. We've used this set with a 6 yr. old, my 15 month old and our 18 month old niece so far. They all love it and think it's great to have their own table and chairs.

I was able to assemble this in about an hour without much trouble. The packaging for the parts is great. They separate out the parts so you have the option to only open what you will need for each step of the project as you go. This eliminates having the piles of misc. screws, bolts, washers, etc. in one big pile trying to identify which you need. The pieces fit together very well and when assembled, it is very sturdy and looks like it will stand up well to years of abuse from my toddler, his cousins and friends.

As another reviewer mentioned, The paint on this does rub off pretty easily. There are a few marks on the wall from the red bench already but I am sure it's nothing magic eraser can't take care of! :-) All-in-all this is a quality product for a good price.

I purchased this set because my SIL owns one, and so far it has lasted for over 4 years.
My kids are fairly rough on things, so I'm not sure that I would expect mine to last that long.
It is a very attractive little set, and the quality is great for the price.
It's made from a pressed wood, which IMO is a little "soft" (easy to dent). But a set that is well taken care of should be able to stand the test of time.
My kids are aged 9,7,5, and 2. All of them can fit at the table, although I would say that it is more suited for my 2 and 5 year old.
The little storage box is adorable and very handy.
It was a CINCH to put together. It took less than half an hour. (Always plus in my book!)
Overall, it's a great set and I would recommend it to anyone with preschool aged children, especially for the price!

We bought this table and chair set for my son for Christmas. So, even though he hasn't used it yet, I was impressed with how easy it was to put together. KidKraft marked all of the pieces in the box so that you can easily find the piece you're looking for (with the table and chairs being different colors, obviously that helped a lot too). It also seems to be very well constructed and I can't wait to set it out for my son.
