this is a fantastic DVD. It talks to kids like to small grown ups .... very, very cool. My little daughter loves it so much that she carries the DVD around like it is her new best friend.
For me as the mom I do Yoga myself and am very happy that my daughter can watch TV and do something healthy at the same time. Very, very much can recommend this title - really inspired, great DVD. All thumbs up!!

My 3-year-old daughter loves to work out with me to my DVDs, and I bought this for her to begin some stretching and yoga. She loves watching and copying other kids. However, as a Christian family, we skip the first portion of the workout which is a mantra meditation (the names of the Hindu goddesses chanted over and over by the leader and children for 2-3 minutes).

I am the perfect aunt - I play with my nieces, take them out for a walk, shopping etc. This DVD has become the part of my toolset. When I go babysitting, we just begin with Yoga. As I don't have too much free-time to go running or dancing, I do the exercises with them and sometimes they lough at me because they're a lot more flexible than me :) - afterwards the smaller one usually falls asleep and the older gets a lot calmer than before. I would recommend this DVD to every girls in the same position, the workout is not gonna be easy for you neither!

Magnificent DVD ... my kids and I very much enjoy this Yoga lesson. We practice together maybe twice a week. Great buy, very happy :)

I ordered this DVD to share with my 11 yr. old son over the Christmas holidays. I have been doing Yoga from TV and Sara Bates's DVD for several years now and wanted to hook my son to it but this DVD grossly underperformed despite the positive reviews I read here on Amazon on it. I wished the teacher would have gone more slowly introducing every one of the poses instead of rushing through them, going from basic poses to some very challenging ones without proper education of them in sequence and labeling them within 20-30 minutes. This was unlike any of the good programs I've been involved in whether in real life or in DVD form. A big disappointment to both my son and me. We used my DVDs instead to do Yoga together and enjoyed my DVDs a lot more than this one which was supposed to have been geared towards children being introduced to Yoga!!

This video is difficult because many times the children are being shown doing the poses (which my child likes), but they are doing them incorrectly some of the time and it isn't helpful.

1)Boring. 2)A bit to hari hari for us as well. 3) We bought this for our 9 & 10 year old sons to do with their mother. There is one little boy in it, and he is off-screen most of the time.

My daughter was excited to receive this, she loves doing Yoga with Mommy, but it was a disappointment, very boring, didn't hold her attention... she is five years old, we would NOT recommend this.
