The picture leads you to believe that you get a gate that covers the area shown. However, it only comes with 'three' gates and you will have to buy extensions if you want it to cover a big area like the one shown in the picture. Check your measurements before buying. I had to buy 3 more extensions, but they are worth it. I just wish I would have checked the measurements. Since you can only buy this product online (won't find it in the target stores), I had to wait for the extensions to arrive to keep my kid enclosed in his play area.

This gate is working great in our house. We have ordered additional wall attachments directly from kidco so that we can attach it different ways. I really wanted a wood gate, but there just are not any out there that seemed sturdy enough. This is sturdy and simple to use.

I researched for weeks trying to find a product that would fit my wide, angled and very different shaped stairs. This product can bind at almost any angle and in any direction. It is extremely quick and easy to install. The reason I gave it a bad review is that it is almost impossible to open the gate with one hand. With a baby in hand it makes it hard to use this gate in areas that you will need to access it a lot.

We tried other gates to place at the bottom of our stairs, but this one works the best. We bought two extensions to cover our area. PERFECT. I highly recommed the Kidco Configure Gate for odd bottom-stair areas.

My son gets into everything and anything. This gate system is excellent. It allows you to have baby in hand and open/close the gate. It automatically closes so if you have forgetful people in your house you don't have to keep checking. These stand the test of time and lots of use. Totally worth it.

We needed to extend this gate by another 8 inches and they didn't sell the extension in the store, the sales person told us we could purchase it at their store online but when we googled it we found it cheaper at this site, it came quickly and without problems. It's a great gate that fit the needs of our space (we had difficulty blocking off our starway and eventually or entranceway).

I bought this gate to go with an older model that I bought several years ago. I love these gates. I have a house with large openings to the living room, and these gates are a practical and attractive way to contain my toddler in this room. The white gates blend in with my walls. I've had people come over and not even notice them. They are very secure. The only problem I've had is that my son has gotten his knee stuck between the rails twice. Not fun. I would still recommend them.

This did not come with a gate they only come with polls. Now I have to found a way to return it.
