The title says it all. I ordered this to make it easier to slice apples for my toddler, but I don't think it really saved me any time. It took all my wieght just to get this thing to go through a small apple. The blades need to be sharper.

we've owned this for a couple weeks and used it a few time for home made fries it really cuts down prep time. I hope it last a long time since we'll use it a lot w/ all my kids food allergies.

I don't use the cube attachment much but the slicer . . . our family has used every day for about 5-6 years. part of it is cracked but whatever . . . we still use it. love, love, love it. May be time for a new one though.

I love this thing! I originally purchased it because I was making my own baby food and wanted to speed up the slicing and dicing process before I steamed the food. It was a perfect solution for me. Now I use it most frequently to quickly cut apples for my kids. I also use the other side for cutting potatoes. It takes a bit more force to get through them, but this slicer holds up every time! I've been pretty hard on it, and it's never shown any signs of damage. I love that you can take the blade out so you know nothing is left in the cracks and creases when you wash it. I'm so glad we purchased this!
