The Kidde Nighthawk Premium Carbon Monoxide Detector offers you and your family protection from the silent killer, CO and gas leaks. The detector features a continuous digital display of CO levels from 30-999 ppm and with the press of a button displays levels as low as 7 ppm. In the event of a dangerously high CO level, the detector sends out a loud danger signal so that you can react quickly. The detector has a convenient test/reset button so that you can test the unit's electronics and silence the sounder alarm whenever necessary and a peak level memory button that recalls the highest danger level. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a growing problem, and the physical signals are hard to detect, but with this Nighthawk detector, you don't need to worry. It comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty, so you can be confident it's safe and dependable.

I work at a truck shop where noxious fumes can sometimes make you sick. In the office we have this detector and it gives you that extra security in case the carbon monoxide level gets to high. It has gone off a couple of times, and you wouldn't even of known there was a problem otherwise. Basically this product works great, and I just wanted to let everyone know about it.

We've had our detector four years, always showed the low reading of zero. Then, in the middle of the night one night it awoke my wife and I to display very high readings of carbon monoxide. We called the fire department which investigated to discover a problem with our furnace. They said if we didn't have it we might have died.

We had two CO detectors in the home, this one and another brand's battery operated one. The Nighthawk always went off and my parent's always ignored it. Finally, one Sunday, without my parents permission (I was in my 20's), I called the fire department to have them check it out. Our levels were so high that the fire department said that got an instant headache when they walked in. At times our levels were well over 300. Please get one...Co is the SILENT killer.
