I hope perhaps I got a defective model The plug in gas monitor unit is the problem. I have had 4 different alerts all ERROR and I replaced the battery only to have repeat error message alerts in a few weeks. I plan on returning this product

I returned this because I had thought it was battery operated and it only has the battery back-up in case your power goes out. It seemed like a great product but I need it for a remote setting that doesn't have electricity so it went back. The return was very easy, however, and they seem like a nice company.

Only detraction was that they had been manufactured 1 year prior. As these types of devices time expire after 7-10 years, that means you have less time left. Not a bad idea to call the company prior to ordering to ensure you have the most recent manufactured items. Otherwise great buy.
