5.0 out of 5 stars The Very Best Sleep Sacks Ever
I ordered these sleep sacks because they were cheaper than the Halo's and they looked like they would work just fine. I am so impressed by them that they will always be a gift that I give. 1.0 out of 5 stars velcro on shoulders!
I bought this for my daughter because she needed larger sleep sacks and I like the zip around feature. They are great and soft, they are also long enough for a growing baby. However, one morning my daughter woke up with a bloody cheek. It took a while to realize that the scratches on her face were from the velcro on the shoulder straps. I stopped using these sleep sacks...

I ordered these sleep sacks because they were cheaper than the Halo's and they looked like they would work just fine. I am so impressed by them that they will always be a gift that I give. The price is better, the material is better, the fit is better, the design is better. Need I go on? They are so much easier for getting our little girl into when she is tired and the zipper doesn't get into her face when she is uprigt on my shoulder. If your baby is under 6 months get both the large and small. If your baby is over 6 months just get the large. This is one item that a bargin is really better!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars velcro on shoulders!, September 14, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I stopped using these sleep sacks that day and bought new ones with snaps at the shoulders. There is a small warning on the tag that says to not put the velcro closure near your baby's face because it could scratch. How can you not put your baby's shoulder near her face?? I would not buy this again or recommend it to anyone. I would recommend saving your money on this product and buying a better sleep sack without velcro closures.

5.0 out of 5 stars best invention, February 20, 2006
I love the Beddiebye Safety blanket. Unlike the other ones, it zips around the outside to allow for easier and more comfortable diaper changes in the middle of the cold night. Also, if your baby is asleep, you can still but it on him with minimal movement on the babys part. Just wish the velcro were snaps, so it wouldn't snag things when washing!

2.0 out of 5 stars Velcro tabs a pain! :(, April 6, 2008

I love the concepts of sleepsacks- and our son is very cozy in them. The Kiddopatamus brand is usually reliable- we couldn't have done w/o their swaddlers for his first 4 months. However, the design of this product is flawed- it was a good idea in theory to have a zip around sleepsack so could put a sleepy baby in it without having to deal with putting their arms through holes like the Halo sack, BUT the velcro tabs are horrible! They are at a level where they scratched my son's cheeks/chin whenever he'd sleep with his head turned to one side. I tried attaching them loosely and snugly to see if it was just the level where I had velcroed them in place- but no- it's definitely a design flaw. We stopped using this sack and purchased several of the Halo sleepsacks- spend the few extra bucks and save yourself the pain!

4.0 out of 5 stars Better design than Halo, November 17, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We like this beddiebye design better than halo's sleepsack because it is easy to get baby in and out of sack and even change diapers without maneuvering the infant. Often baby is asleep when I put him into sleepsack. I just unzip the sack, lay it flat in crib, place sleeping baby on it and than just zip around the edge and velcro top in place. It is even easier than it sounds! My only complaint is the material could be more natural like cotton or flannel.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!, June 9, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This sleep sack is great! You can just lay it in the bed and when your baby is sleepy you can put them on it and zip them up in it, without having to really disturb them. I love that you don't have to try to put their arms through a hole, since the shoulders open and velcro back. I would recommend this one over the halo brand, which doesn't open at the shoulders. I haven't had any probs with the velcro scratching her. You just have to make sure you cover the rough velcro side completely with the other side of the velcro.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to blankets, December 2, 2007

I absolutely loves these. I got one as a baby shower gift and now I have bought 3 on my own. I even buy them for other moms to be. The fabirc is so soft and I feel comfortable knowing he hasn't kicked the balnket off and he isn't able to get this over his face and block his breathing. It has a wrap around zipper that stops under the arm and a piece of fabric that wraps over it so the metal never makes contact with his skin so no chance of scratching himself. I have washed mine several times and they stand up well. Great Gift Idea.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Sleep Sack, May 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love this sleep sack. I can open it completely, put my sleeping daughter in and zip her up without waking her. I like that it completely opens and I don't have to struggle with her to get her arms into the holes like the sleepsack from Halo. Also, my daughter is very long for her age so I like that this blanket is a bit larger than the Halo and other brands. I also got a great price, well worth the amount I paid for this blanket. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sleep sack, February 16, 2009

This review is from: Kiddopotamus Beddiebye Zip Around Safety Blanket Microfleece Large (Baby Product)
When our twins outgrew the swaddling blankets we bought these sleep sacks. They're warm, easy to use and comfortable. We ordered the largest size and they worked from 4-11 months (~20 lbs).

4.0 out of 5 stars Great sleeper, October 31, 2008
I really like this sleeper. It keeps my little peanut all snuggly and warm throughout the night. We put her in footed pjs and then this sleeper and keep the air on 68-69 degrees and she stays very warm. The velcro tabs start to bend up a little bit with use, but they have not scratched her like some people have complained about. This is a great product.
