When ordering this product be sure you are aware there are different weights in the fabric of this product as well as sizes.

I received the Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe blanket for a baby shower gift, I was kind of wary to use it at first. It looked so confining. I swaddled my son a few days after coming home from the hospital. The first night swaddled he slept 5 hours. He is now almost 2 months old and is sleeping swaddled 7-8 hours a night. He absolutley loves the blanket, and so do I. We have the small swaddle blanket and he is now growing out of it, he is 24 inches long. I've ordered the large size so he will be able to stretch out his legs. Lately he has been able to wiggle his hands out of the blanket, but he still stays pretty snug. He is a wiggler though. I would highly recommend this blanket and the swaddle technique to any new parent. It's an absolute must have!

I suggest this for newborns. We bought ours too late, our son was already 3 months old and didn't like being swaddled much anymore. I'm keeping ours for our next little one and am going to use shortly after birth.

I have two of these wraps in small/med and when my son grew out, i wanted more because the are wonderful. i bought the size large and washed it once, in cold water and it shrunk to a size smaller than the small/med wraps! i bought many other cotton baby clothes the same day and washed them all together and the swaddleme wrap was the only one that shrank. i give it three stars because the wraps are amazing to help babies sleep, but i wasted my money with this product because i cannot use it.

We've used these swaddles for both of our sons. When our second was getting close to the 14 lb. point, I ordered this swaddle and an organic cotton version. I washed both before using according to the instructions included. The organic cotton version came out fine, but this version shrunk down to smaller than the small size we were already using! It's completely unuseable. I've had good luck with this product previously, but will order an organic cotton version instead.

Amazon was the only place where I was able to find a large size swaddling blanket. When ordering, please, double check the size you are getting, because sometimes, you end up with a Small-Medium size in your shopping cart. I agree with a previous reviewer who categorized the blankets depending on the fabric. The flannel ones are smaller than what the label says. For example, my son was 9-10 lbs, when he could no longer fit in the small blanket, which stated it was for infants up to 14 lbs. The cotton blanket large size fit him until he was about 14 lbs. Also, the swaddling blanket I bought this time is of lower quality than the ones I purchased two years ago for my first child. Even though I was looking for Kiddopotamus, like the first set I had bought, the new ones are produced by Summer and the fabric is not as good. Even with those minuses, this is a good product and does the job, if your baby likes to be swaddled.

This swaddle blanket seems to run small, my 16 pound baby barely fits in it. I have another size large swaddle by kiddopotamus and it is much bigger.

If you don't have at least two of these, all I can say is: "What's wrong with you?" These are great! We have been using the swaddleMe blankets for several months now. My only regret is that the baby is going to grow out of them. Soft, yet durable. Our baby loves it and he knows it's bed time when he gets swaddled, and usually is fast asleep in minutes.

We thought our little guy wasn't swaddle-able. Then someone suggested a double swaddle -- essentially swaddling him first in a muslin blanket (Aden and Anais preferably), and then putting the Swaddleme over that. It worked like a dream...

Bought this for my older baby who still wants to be swaddled, but gets very hot. The cotton is a nice fabric, although it does shrink. My baby is 3 mos old and approx 15 lbs and theres still plenty of room for him to grow.
