I bought this table for my 2 year old and 3 1/2 year old to color and sometimes eat at. I bought mine at walmart.com and selected the "site to store" shipping option. This means you have to go pick it up at the store you choose, but the shipping is free and the total cost of the table and 2 chairs was about $137.00. The table was no trouble to put together (it comes in a box in pieces) and is extremely solid. both my kids have sat on it, and even an adult sat on it and the table never wavered. ( i wouldn't recommend adults make it a habit to sit on the table though!).

I sit in the chairs and do crafts with my kids and they are completely sturdy. The size of this table and chair set is a bit taller than most kids furniture, but I wanted that because my 3 1/2 year old is really tall for his age, and I didn't want him to outgrow this set before he would be done using it. The color is true to the picture online, and the top cleans beautifully. My daughter has colored with crayons on it many times, and they wipe off with a dry cloth or the mr. clean magic eraser. Doesn't seem to affect the finish on the table at all. I did have a small problem with the table seeming wobbly at first, but I put one of those felt pads on the offending leg and all was well. It's quite possible that it was my floor that waas having the problem, because we have since moved, and now the table is wobbly with the felt pad on one leg. Definately worth the money!!

We purchased this set for our daughter's 7th birthday present, as drawing and coloring are her two favorite activities, and she was bumping her knees on our little ikea table. This is very easy to assemble (about 45 minutes for one person) and is very pretty. It is solid wood, not a laminate. The table and chairs are all totally level, no wobblies here. I could see this being a very useful piece of furniture for tall 5 year olds to shorter 10 year olds, so it has nice dimensions. It can be used for working on homework, art, puzzles, lego, playmobil, wooden trains, and almost all board games. Adults can easily sit in these chairs--they are that sturdy. This could also be used as a children's table at Thanksgiving or other holidays where you already have too many people (large and small) at the main dining room table. The wood is so pretty, you wouldn't be embarrassed to have it in your most formal dining room, and children feel special sitting here (rather than banished!). Highly recommended.

My daughter received this set as a gift. I am very impressed by the sturdiness and the quality. She will be able to use it for years.

I was also very impressed with the company and customer service. When a leg on one of the chairs broke (there was a knot in the wood) on the third day of use, I received a reply to my e-mail almost immediately informing me that a new chair was on the way, which I received in about a week, complete with all necessary hardware, no questions asked.

This is a beautiful table/chair set that is functional as well. I bought it as an upgrade for my 5 and 7 year old daughters. My 7yr. old is rather tall for her age and it seats her just fine. The finish is beautiful and for those who don't like putting furniture together, this is the set for you. All you have to attach are the table/chair legs and the chair seats. The drawer is already attached and ready to use. I highly recommend this table/chair set. It's durable and pretty and we will have it for a very long time.

After a long search, I finally settled on this table set and chairs for our 12 year old, 5 ft. 2 inches, 110lb. son. WE LOVE THIS SET!! It came, my hubby and I put it together and it is the sturdiest piece of furniture in our son's room, other than his bed, of course!LOL My husband and I sit in his chairs all the time and he uses the table for his legos and racetracks. It's drawer is an added bonus and our son was SO excited to have a drawer in his new table. He keeps his writing and drawings tucked safely away in it. This table set is perfect and we are looking forward to using it for many years to come.

Great Table, great company, easy to assemble. The drawer arrived with a crack in it and they replaced it immediatly. Table and chairs are tall. Large enough for 8 year olds. We will cut off 3 inches for our 3 year old.

I was very impressed with how well this table was designed. My child is a climber and I knew that the minute that I turned my back - up on the table she would go. The legs are fitted into grooves and then strong metal bolts are inserted and screwed into metal inserts that are already in place. No bolt holes on the outside to have to insert plastic tabs into. The chairs were equal well built. No wobbles and with how well this is put together I don't see any wobbles in the future. The drawer is already in place when you get the table and she has not been able to jerk it out. She is 3ft tall and is just starting to fit this table and chairs - so lots of growing room. The chairs are sturdy enough to hold an adult and the table is just high enough that you don't feel cramped setting and doing arts and crafts with them.

This table and chair set should be around for a long time. It is sturdy and beautifully finished. The color is true to the advertisement. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Table and chairs are multi-purpose. good for almost anything that can be done sitting down. The construction seems to be excellent, and the finish great. I expect to have this in the family for many years to come.

This table and chair set is amazing! I researched and researched before purchasing and I couldn't be happier with this! (The cheaper Kidcraft Avalon set that's a size under this one - - it's way, way smaller then this set. The smaller set will fit like 2 year olds!) This bigger set will fit 2 year olds probably up to age 10! My 3 year old daughter and her 9 year old cousin fit great on it. I also can sit in the chair and color and read with her. It's true to color..very dark. Heavy materials...not cheap and flimsy. The only little thing I would improve on is the drawer....I wish it was a bit bigger. It's a nice size but you know how kids like to shove everything in there! Truly, this is a nice investment with years of use!!!
