I would assume that this chushion edge has to come with the same amount of tape as there's chushion edge in the package, guess what....nope It does not, so you end up with half amount of chusion left and no tape. This is not right, so save your money and buy the Lion Heart one, soooo much better. Besides the kidcushion comes off very easy, my 8 months old baby has take them off almost from everywhere I placed it.

the cushion is great, adhesive is a waste. The should either get some decent 3m double sided stick tape, or leave it off and save the consumer money. the adhesive is worthless.

First of all, the actual cushioned aspect of this product suits its purpose. If my toddler were to fall, this would definitely soften the blow and reduce the possibility of major injuries (hopefully! I hope to never need to find out).

There is definitely not enough adhesive in the package to use on the entire product. I took the advice of other reviewers and bought some double-sided tape to help reinforce this product to my hearth. Unfortunately, I don't think I bought very strong tape. As I was putting it on, my toddler came behind me and began pulling it off with little effort. After my husband pulled him away and kept him occupied, I was able to attach it. But, I still wasn't satisfied with the "stick." There were parts that weren't sticking and it seemed like it needed a little something else.

So, I pulled out my glue gun and it worked perfectly! I hot-glued the places that weren't sticking as well and just added some extra reinforcement overall. It is great, now! I know not everyone has this option--my hearth isn't brick...it's more of a tile. I also know that when we eventually take it off, the glue will scrape off fairly easily compared to the adhesive that was provided.

Another piece of advice: One order of the tape was not enough to go around the entire hearth. I ended up having to order another roll. My fireplace/hearth is normal size--nothing fancy or big. It was probably about 2 feet short. Just a heads up for those ordering.

Overall, I am pleased with the product itself. It's great for my rambunctious toddler boy (we've got another on the way, too!), looks nice, and the price was right. The company just needs more/better adhesive!

We used this edging for lining our brick fireplace. It has really worked and prevented a lot of nasty falls. My husband used double sided sticky tape to help it stay on, and we haven't had any problems since we installed it. It's very reasonably priced and I am happy with how thick it is.

I do not recommend this item. Adhesive tape that conteined in this item is just not enough, so I had to use my adhesive tape. Still my 10month old removed this taupe from furniture that I just attached within 10minutes. BIG DISSAPOINTEMENT.

It has a good cushion but really short for fireplace and its not jumbo size at all. It more like medium tape. It doesnt stick to the rough surfaces. I would not suggest this product to buy for fireplace.

I used this to cover sharp wall corners and it fit perfectly. Nice and thick cushion and no problem with the tape and no problems cutting it with scissors.

This is great for padding sharp edges. It is very thick. We bought 2 rolls to do 3 windows and 1 sharp corner.

This is a great product. Came with very clear instructions and tips on how to apply and is great quality. Now, hopefully no more split open heads on our fireplace hearth!!
