I love Dee Henderson books, but ordering it I did not realize that it was originally titled "True Courage" and I already had it. I don't like it when they do this to unsuspecting customers.

This book was retitled. I thought I was buying a new book, new story.
Hugely dissappointing.

I loved this book - the first time around. But, would not have ordered it again if I had known that this was a reprint of a book that I had already read. I feel that this was wrong to not show anywhere that it was a reprint of another title until I received the book. I love Dee Henderson and was happy to see that she had written another book, little did I know that she had not written another book, the title was changed and it was reprinted. I do love Dee Henderson and hope she writes again!

I really enjoyed this book - the first time. I love Dee Henderson. BUT as I was reading it, I remembered reading it before. I looked on the flap and noticed a copyright date of 2004 and after research noticed it was "re-packaged" given a new name and new cover. I was not too happy about this. Neither was the person who bought it for me as a gift thinking Dee Henderson actually wrote a "new book".

So, if you are follower of Dee Henderson and have read ALL her books, you will find you have read this book before. If not, you'll really enjoy it!

I was disappointed to learn the book had been previously published as True Courage. Now I have two copies of the same book with different titles.

Dee Henderson is an outstanding writer. I have read all of her books and she continues to keep getting better and better. Wonderful read, it kept me on the edge of my seat till the end.

I was scammed on this book. It was previously published as part of a trilogy. I have a lot of Dee Henderson's stuff and was surprised when I found this book because I hadn't heard that she was publishing another project. I immediately purchased it and upon arrival knew that I had already purchased the book under a different name and as a part of a trilogy. I believe she switched publishers and the new publisher is renaming her book and publishing it again.

I was very excited to have a new novel by Henderson. What a shock to realize I had already read the book. I can understand that Kidnapped could be sold individually as it is the 4th book in the series and could stand alone. However, it needs to be emphasized more clearly that is a reprint and not buried so far after advertising, which I don't always read. Most often I order books by author and the book cover. I loved the series but am disappointed not to have a new Henderson novel. May I return the book, or have a credit? I rated a one star, as I couldn't send my review without a rating.

I've liked Dee Henderson ever since she released her O'Malley series. And while I thought this was a good novel, I wonder if it would have been better to split into two books. There just seemed to be too much time covered in this novel and the relationships seemed disjointed because of it. I found because of the time span it was difficult to get to know the characters and feel a connection with them like I have in her other books. It was still a good read, and a bonus that I could download it for free, and I've since read her book 'True Devotion' from her uncommon heroes series which I found one of the best books she's written.

Dee Handerson puts a lot of research into her books. "Kidnapped", is interesting, real page turner, and makes you feel you are right there. You learn the personalities of the characters and it makes you feel you are reading about someone you know.

Her "O'Malley Series" makes you feel you are part of the family and you laugh, cry, pray, feel pain and fear right along with them. I am looking forward to more of her books so I can continue to have a complete library. I would like to suggest you read the O'Malley Series in chronological order so as to keep up with each family member's life and how they are linked together.
