Kidnapped! review,
By Susie (Alabama, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kidnapped! (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
Kidnapped! by Jo Leigh is a Harlequin Blaze story. It is about Michael Caufield, a chauffeur and body guard to Tate Baxter, a wealthy socialtie who has been kidnapped before. Tate has been going to a therapist for years to deal with her fears of being kidnapped again. Her therapist suggests to her that she use a professional kidnapping service to help her overcome her fears. Except that the whole plan backfires, and she gets kidnapped for real by some very mean men.
Michael, who has been against the whole kidnapping idea from the beginning, has to come to her rescue. But he gets caught too and they spend over a week as captives on their way to the Cayman Islands by way of boat. The kidnappers wants Tate to transfer money that she has there to their account. Michael is Tate's only hope of getting out of this alive. Tate has had a crush on Michael for a long time. Tate is not sure if they will come out of this alive so she decides to lose her inhibitions because they are couped up in the same room for days sharing the same bed. This makes for the best part of the story. The chemistry between them is combustible. I really enjoyed this story. It would have made a great mainstream story if it had been longer. 4 1/2 stars!

Oh HOT! Michael Caulfield is the one to be handcuffed to a bed with!! Even though Michael and Tate are in a dire situation that doesn't stop them from exploring the burning desire they feel for each other... and that doesn't stop me from reading it!
