Got this for my daughter 2nd birthday (about 3 months ago). Like many other little girls she has had a fascination with purses for a long time. She even had a real one she'd take out for a while. I had been waiting to find a better, more fun, (and safer) toy one. This one is fantastic!

I love how it has all the essential contents of a purse. My daughter carries it on her arm when we go out. She pretends to put on the "lipstick" and even started "sliding" the "debit card" in between the keys of her toddler piano!

I think any toy that encourages imaginative, pretend play is educational. And of course imitating Mommy is lots of fun and lets lttle ones feel grown up.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 16 months old and she just loved it! She takes the purse every where with her it's the perfect size and the pieces inside of it are big so you don't have to worry about them choking on it. I looked every where for a purse like this one, it has a lot of the same items my purse has so she likes to take her lipstick out when I do and pretend she's talking on the phone when I'm on mine. I added sunglass to it so she likes to carry those around in it too. Great gift for a little girl!

My daughter received this for her first birthday and by far it was her favorite present! She was constantly taking my credit cards when we go out and now she has her own! She loves to look in the mirror and "put lipstick on". She carries this purse around the house all day long. Very safe - none of the toys seem breakable and none seem to be a choking hazard. I would highly recommend this for every 1-year old little girl who loves to play in mommy's purse.

When my then 16 month old snagged my purse and scattered it's contents one too many times I bought her this purse, and she LOVES it! Four months later she still looks for it every time we leave the house. I would take the phone out for under three, it just looked like it make produce small parts if broken, but the rest is great. If you have a little one that wants to do everything mommy does, this toy is a sanity saver. My daughter loves having her very own purse, lipsick and keys- and she's stopped bugging me for mine (okay- she's cut back!). Bottom line: Good value, lots of fun.

As far a the look of purses goes this is a adorable look but the phone is just hard plastic and you can't even press the numbers. You can get a phone at the $1 store that makes noises when you press the button so I was dissapointed with the phone. I purchased a phone to go with the purse. The other things are cute. My daughter is 19 months and at that age they want a phone that can do something. If it wasn't for the fact that I liked everything else I would have returned it.

My daughter received this last Christmas from Grandma and she just loves it. She loves putting on the lipstick and looking at herself in the mirror. It makes her feel just like mommy carrying her own purse.

My little girl loves to carry around all her "treasures", whether it be in a paper bag, a bucket, her snack bowl... So I put "play purse" on her Christmas list, and she got this one from an aunt.
She ADORES it!!! It is by far her favorite gift this year. After 2 months, she is still carrying it around. She "puts on" the lipstick (and puts it on me and her brothers too). She carries her other little toys around in the purse. It's just great overall. My 1-year old son is also fascinated by the purse and all it's contents. I like it cuz it's durable and not one thing out of the bag has gotten broken. Amazingly, she's even kept all the pieces together.

I don't know what it is about this little purse but my little girl loves to play with it. She pretends to put on the lipstick and even has her own debit card. She's had plenty of purses (she's 4 1/2 now) but seems to enjoy playing with this purse in particular. I think it's a good choice for any small girl who wants to be like mom!

My daughter takes this purse with her everywhere! She loves being like Mommy, and swings the purse over her arm as we get into the stroller. The objects that are included in the purse are well made, and they are exactly the kinds of things my daughter wants to carry. My daughter got this gift a year ago and she still plays with it all the time, though I admit sometimes she totes different objects around, (her little people, Daddy's real keys, etc.)

If your child likes to play pretend, this is perfect!

I bought this purse set for my daughter for her second birthday. She is now four years old and still plays with it often. It has moved beautifully through the 'chewing on the lipstick' phase right along to the 'dress-up' stage. Over the years we have lost a couple of the pieces, but the ones we still have look just as new as they did when we first opened the package. This is a well-made, delightful toy that has outlasted, I believe, all of her other toys with the exception of her night-time lovey. This is a great gift for any little girl, proving that the best toys are not necessarily the expensive ones.
