Fabulous! Mark Breen's new book helps kids and grown-ups understand how the weather works. He gives great instructions on how to build weather instruments. He gives lots of hints for predicting the weather, including looking out the window. The Weather Man's Song is a hit!

This book is a fabulous text for introducing the beginning "meterologist" to the weather. My children adore the hands-projects, illustrations, and the cartoons added for comic-relief. As a parent, I loved seeing my three children work together on a project. The excitement created in my home was a joy to watch. As a homeschooling parent, hearing them jump out of bed asking, "Can we do science first?" was delightful.

We just got the book but
I believe it is a great book. It is written well and understandable for young children. It has several activities for the children to do. My 7 yr old loves it.

I PURCHASED THIS BOOK FOR MY GREAT NEPHEWS FOR XMAS. THEY ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A METERIOLOGIST AND LOVED THIS BOOK.I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY YOUNG PERSON INTERESTED IN WEATHER.IT IS EASY TO READ AND THEY REALLY HAD FUN BUILDING A WEATHER STATION.tHIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE.

This is a great book for any teacher who's doing a weather unit. It has a lot of great information about different weather and weather tools/equipment. It also has a lot of great experiments and hands-on projects that can be done with/by the students. I thought it really helped get them involved when I had them make some tools for measuring different types of weather. They really enjoyed it.

We purchased the indoor outdoor Wendy girl thermometer for our special needs child and this book went right along with it ,we cant wait to do the weather projects and the antics are wonderfully fun. .Very good purchase.

My great grandson loves everything about weather and this book was perfect for him. He is home schooled and this will be good for an extra class.
