Very disappointing. It was a gift on Christmas day and broke upon gentle playing with it. So, needless to say, it was a total disappointment and I did not bother to return it either. My bad, but too much trouble. So, a loss all the way around.

I am severely disappointed with this toy. We bought it so my mother could read stories to my son and he could play them back while he read the books. She lives out of town and it seemed a good way to keep them in touch. The record button is right next to the play button. Big mistake for toddlers. The sound quality stinks and the whole thing seems of inferior quality. Just disappointed.

My son got this as a gift and has had a lot of fun with it. I noticed the sound was much better once I adjusted the volume down, then back up.
