I was a little surprised that these weren't original, but perhaps I didn't read the fine print before ordering. Still, they're okay, although some are a little watered down from the original beat. (Less bass and thumpability... probably not a bad thing.)They do claim to have "kid friendly lyrics", and I wonder at the reviewer who complained about "Can't Touch This" and "Axel F". Axel F doesn't even have lyrics! I listened to Can't Touch This and didn't hear anything offensive. (I'm more concerned with the bad grammar in "We like to move it, move it".) Still, it's fun music for the family to listen to. Not insipidly sweet like lots of kids compilations.

My kids and I love this cd. I bought it for a fall barn dance we were having with a bunch of friends, most with kids Kindergarten and younger and everyone loved it. The songs are the original versions, so everyone recognized the music and just couldn't keep from dancing. Every time I put on this cd my kids start dancing around the room. It's very good exercise for them, and me! It's not the best cd case, it's only cardboard, but it's ok b/c the cd is great!
