Great value & usefull.
My 4 year old broke his arm just below the shoulder and had to have his entire arm wrapped to his chest for over a month. I got him this for preschool to hold his papers still so he could still color and write. The elastic corners were perfect and it worked great so he could still do things one-handed. It is also light weight so it doesn't weigh down his back pack.

Does what it's designed for, but a little flimsy
I bought this for our 6 and 7 yr old boys, so the size is perfect. They only use it to draw on in the car - not to eat or play toys on, etc. It's a little flimsy for my taste, but from what I've read, that's supposed to be safer. Its good for them to draw on, but I suppose if you had a large book, it would serve the same purpose. But I will say that they do use it...
