Tight album!,

I'd been listening to the same 4 song GCH had put out for months and was eagerly awaiting this release. This album floored me. Production quality is awsome, has some of the tightest most throught provoking lyrics I've heard in a long time, and the beats are top-notch. GCH is going to be big one day. Hiphop has a new savior..or perhaps I should say heroe.

Unlike most groups, these cats are unconcerned with sexual conquests, drugs and guns, they are REAL, LIVE, SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS Heads. It is clear from the music that these guys have been influenced by more than just Hip-Hop, and use REAL instruments to create laid-back, funky, mellow basslines, over which dope rhymes are kicked to create their own []variant of the genre. The lyrical skill exhibited on this album may not be ABSOLUTELY superb, but the flow far surpasses even most older and experienced mainstream rappers. The album certainly has a 'high school' feel, which is not surprising since this album was actually written when most of the members where still at school. 'For The Kids' is exactly what it says on the tin - music for teens everywhere, documenting real experiences that people of every ethnicity and class go through. If you're looking for hard hitting rap with plenty of cursing then this ain't for you...Real music fans looking for a new outlook on Hip-Hop ought to click 'Add To Cart' right away...

Right on, Right on,

God, it's good to hear hip hop with real instruments. Travis Mc Coy be like the influenza, I got hit with the GCH bug about a year ago, a friend of mine had an MP3 on his comp, I went to the website and got em all. I bought the album within two weeks of its release. Comparable to the Roots. If you're looking for rapcore, you'll be disappointed, but buy it anyway. Besides, aren't you tired of hearing "fred durst's best verse? (sorry fred)" Original, thought provoking, groovy. Buy this CD, or regret it. AND IT'S LIKE THAT

This is the album that turned me on to hip hop. With crisp drums and warm guitars from, yes, real instruments, GCH blends many musical styles wonderfully to create a truly unique sound. The lyrics are great, with near-perfect delivery. Buy this album, if you're a music fan you won't be disappointed.

Even though I've never heard of Gym Class Heroes, I randomly decided to buy this album and by golly, it was the best damn purchase of my life. Except perhaps for that 17 lb burrito, that was a pretty good purchase too. I think that anyone who is a person and likes things should buy this album.

If you're tired of the same ol' mainstream hip-hop and are looking for something refreshing, this album is for you! Gym Class Heroes will be taking hip-hop to a brand new level! This album is only the beginning! It's thought-provoking, biting, and something totally amaziing. This isn't just a hip-hop album... it's a jazz, rock, emo, indie, blues, hip-hop album.
And look for "The Papercut Chronicles" Summer 2004!

Bottom line is this cd is tight like I don't know what GCH is going to move the hip-hop world in to a generation. With there ill flow and bangin music they don't need to talk about drugs and guns and all that I mean i listen to that but gym class hereos brings all that gun and drug talk to a rest just listen to Food For Mic skills you'll know what I'am talking about.

Damn good kids.,

Without question, GCH is the best band to see live,(after the Roots), if your into good music. This CD is is frosted like cake and healthy as well. Their new stuff is even better, and with even more frosting. Schleprock is one crazy cat who tears up the mic like its my sofa, and they got the sickest drummer i've heard. These guys are definately underhyped and overtalented, get them a record deal and get the word out on GCH, you won't regret it.
