5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best soundtracks!
I'm a fan of KITH and after I had listened to this cd, I listened to it about 10 times more! That's how good it was. It had a really good combination of songs. Even if your not a KITH fan, I recommend it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Where's Cancer Boy?
"Whistle When You're Low" by Cancer Boy is by far the musical highlight of the film (and it's a great movie by the way).

I would have bought this album in a second if that song was on it, but without Cancer Boy, what's the point?

5.0 out of 5 stars A CD you can listen to from beginning to end, April 4, 2002

This review is from: Kids In The Hall: Brain Candy - Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This cd is one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. It provides a wide variety of bands, quirky songs, and it all fits into the movie perfectly. Even if you don't like Kids in the Hall, or the movie, I would definately recommend anyone give this cd a listen. You might be surprised. My favorite songs on the album, Cibo Matto's "Birthday Cake" and Pizzicato Five's "Nata Di Marzo" were the songs that drove me into the JPop genre of music I now love. The "Brain Candy" Soundtrack provides everything for everyone.

If you are a fan of KITH, you MUST see Brain Candy, and if you have, ge tthe soundtrack! happyness Pie is the best song! also, download a bunch of their other songs and sketches (like daddy drank, terriers, running faggot, what is the fat man doing across the road...) off Mactser or Napster.

Everyone who is a fan of KITH or not should have a copy of this. This is a perfect combination of music, especially Bruce's band from the movie. Somedays it's dark is a great song, and happiness pie just makes me laugh everytime I hear it. Go out and buy this disc right away.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Quirky, So Cool, Sooooo 'Kids in the Hall', July 6, 1999

This is a fantastic CD, whether you are a 'Kids' fan or not. My personal favorite track is Cibo Matto's "Birthday Cake". The songs are all different from each other, but run along the same quirky, fab path. Check it out!

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome soundtrack, April 25, 1999

One of my favorite soundtracks ever. It seems to carry on the theme of "the kids in the hall" brilliantly with twisted songs like "Birthday Cake" by Cibo Matto and Death Lurks (Bruce McCulloch and Odds)

If you saw the KITH movie, and haven't yet bought the soundtrack, go and do so right now. Even if you didn't like the movie, the music is definatly worth it. With songs from great bands like They Might be Giants, The Tragically Hip, and Guided by Voices, this album is one of the best musical soundtracks you will ever find.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brain Candy for everyone!!!!!!, March 2, 2003

I have been watching The Kids for a over two years now [I have missed so much!], I'm currently 13, and first saw Brain Candy last summer. All I can say is that I was watching it at around 2 AM and was afraid of my laughter awakening my sleeping parents.

Brain Candy has got to be one of THE BEST comedy films I have ever seen! It is extremely creative and different, espically compared to the 'norm' of comedy these days. Face it, the sense of humour in humans has dulled down, A LOT, over the years.

Though, as others have said, it is better if you have a darker sense of humour, or else you may not understand most of the jokes, but even if you don't, just try this one anyway. . . You should still enjoy yourself.

OK, I got a little off track, but I still have to add that the movie is great but the soundtrack is even better!
