Kids Konserve Set of 2 Leak-Proof Stainless-Steel Food Containers

I have searched for a non-plastic container for my kids to bring snacks to their school and these are the best ones that I found. They are light weight, leak proof and just the perfect size for about a cup of goldfish/crackers/grapes or whatever healthy snack that you want to pack for your kids or yourself. I also have the lunchbots (LunchBots Uno Stainless Steel Lunch Container, LunchBots Pico Stainless Steel Lunch Container, LunchBots Duo Stainless Steel Lunch Box/Food Container) but even though they are GREAT containers, they are not leakproof and even the smallest one (the pico) is a tad too big for an appropriate potion of snack. I would have given the Kids Konserve containers a 5 stars if the lids are made (more) of stainless steel too. But all in all, a great product and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Update: One of the plastic lids cracked after about a year of hard use but I'm happy to find that replacement lids are available on Kids Konserve's website at a very reasonable price even with shipping.

I absolutely love these containers. They perform like no other. I don't know what the reviewer that gave this product 1 star is talking about. The containers close quite easily, you just have to make sure that the lid is pushed all the way down on all sides. These leak-proof containers seal any liquids in. I pack hot soups, sauces, dressing, fruit, etc., in them for my daughter's lunch (she's a toddler) and they stay closed and dry on the outside after all her running around and abusing her little lunch box daily.

I did a lot of research before ordering these. I wanted a stainless steel food container that was leak-proof and did not contain BPA. It was no easy task finding such a product. But these fit the bill; they are safe, convenient, durable, and attractive. We have them in all sizes, and also have the tiny ones with stainless steel lids (those are not leak-proof, but perfect for dry snacks). If you are thinking about getting these but don't like the price, just consider how long they are going to last (they are unbreakable!) and how much better than the competition they are.

These are really great little containers. They are the perfect size for sending a snack to school. They are stainless which is wonderful. However I am only giving them 2 stars because they are incredibly difficult to open I have a hard time opening them and it is imposibble for my 7 and 5 year olds to do it. So while they are great containers they sit in my cabinet un-used.

This container is perfect for children's lunches. It is the appropriate serving size and no spills as promised. It is easy for older children to open on their own.

I use these in my kids' lunch boxes (ages 11, 8, 6) and they work wonderfully. They're easy for little hands to open, clean well, and can hold fruit, snacks, or even a sandwich in a hamburger bun! Highly recommend!

I wanted something to replace our plastic containers and these are perfect! It's also a great size for toddlers as I can fit a portion of fruits without crushing them or fill only half with some crackers. Great purchase!

A few months ago, I bought two sets of these containers for my kids' lunches. For the first few days, it worked great, even though the lids were too tight for my kids to open the containers by themselves. Very soon, though, the lids broke ! Still great containers but definitively lid-less now, which greatly reduces their usage.
Would not buy again.

I use this for my 5-year old's kindergarten lunch. Usually, we put yogurt, applesauce in it, but sometimes I'll use it for cookies, just to avoid using a plastic bag. He finds these containers easy to open. They seem durable -- we've only had them for about 3 weeks -- so I suspect we'll have them for a long time!

Trying to get away from plastic bags in lunches? These are great. They are a nice size for snacks, a side dish like potato salad, keeping potato chips from getting crushed, etc. The stainless is high quality and goes right into the dishwasher, as do the lids. The lids are a little hard to get off or seal (compared to some other lids I've tried), but they seal well and do not leak. I also use them to store leftovers in the fridge.

I purchased these two containers to serve my kindergartener's snacks. She is able to open them easily. They do not leak; they close tight. They do not rust even when I put acidic food in them. They are just what I needed. 8oz of food fit perfectly and is more than plenty for her appetite.
