Kids Konserve Nesting Trio Stainless-Steel Containers with Leak-Proof Lids

These containers look very nice, and they nest very well, making storage easy. And, of course, it's good to know that we are not exposing ourselves to chemicals from plastics. However, I found the lid on these hard to close tightly, even for me and certainly for a child. That means I often get a lunchbox scattered with food remnants from these containers that were not tightly closed.

Recently used these containers to travel with my 1 year old daughter. I had 2 go in the suitcase (in the cargo area) and 1 in my backpack. After 4 flights, none got any dents. I love that they are durable, waterproof, and toxin free.

I purchased these containers to take my lunch to work. They are a little smaller than I expected (that may be my lack of proportion identification)-- but maybe a great size for portion control. The stainless containers are thick and hefty-- should not dent easily. The edges are nice and rounded for safety. The lids fit great and are heavy duty -- intended for daily use. Fantastic product. Plus, they easily nest within one another for spacing saving. I plan to order more for food storage for my fridge. I would highly recommend this product, but would be cautious with anyone who might lose things easily.

They are impossible for little ones to open and close! I have a tough enough time closing them all the way, I have no idea how a young school-aged child would close OR open them on their own. I love the idea of these - stainless steel so the food is safe and the lids are tight enough that you don't have to worry about food oozing out. But the execution on these is all wrong. They are way too difficult for kids to use. Kiddos will definitely need help opening and closing these back up - so as long as that's not an issue, then buy them. Otherwise, think about using another product that your child will be able to use him/herself.

A great concept but there is no way a child could open these without assistance. Sadly, I am going to have to return.

Lately I've started using stainless steel containers for taking lunches to work and for storing leftovers in the fridge, rather than plastic containers, and I've bought several different types of containers (eco, lunchbots, To Go Ware). These nesting containers are probably my favorite--the three different sizes give you choices, the construction is top-notch, the colorful plastic lids are very sturdy and durable, they don't leak, and they are very cute, too. Not large enough for a sandwich, but I use them for cut-up fruit, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, small leftovers, etc. And the fact that they nest makes storage easy. I love these little containers! But if you're thinking sandwiches or a decent sized salad, these are not the products you need. I wish they made a larger set of round, nesting containers for bigger items, but these are really excellent for smaller things.

Hi, I love these containers, but this morning when I made lunch, I noticed that the lid had split. I've only had them 6 months and they are only hand washed. Not impressed. So now the container can't be used. I now have to find out if they will replace the lid or if I can even buy a replacement lid. I wish it had lasted longer.

These SS Containers are tough little guys and the lids are fantastic they do not leak at all I like to put soups and cream of wheat in the biggest one and juicy fruits in the others great buy!!!

I bought these for my eight-year-old daughter. After three weeks of use for school lunch, the smallest tin's lid is cracked and no longer liquid proof. Definitely not worth the money.

My preschooler has a hard time opening up these containers himself. He needs help. Even with an adult, these are not easy to open. It is very tight, which is good so the food won't fall out or leak. But, kind of cumbersome.
