With charming, mother-baby barn animal scenes every inch of the way, this farm-themed growth chart makes rare "measuring moments" even more special. As the height increases, illustrations of animals, and pictures of your baby, make this more than a measuring stick: it’s a charting of early memories. The four, wallet-sized picture frames attached to the chart are a thoughtful feature; parents can slip in photos as evidence of growth stages they mark off. It begins 23" (from the floor) and goes up to 5 feet, at which height kids will say they feel silly standing against a glorified measuring stick. For tots, however, the chart folds in half at the 3-foot mark, thanks to metal hinges connecting the chart’s two pieces of solid, painted wood. I recently purchased this growth chart to match the rest of the barnyard theme I've got going on in my baby's new room. While its adorable beyond belief, we realized you hang it kind of like a picture frame with two clasps up at the top to hang on wall tacks or nails. It is a little bit heavy because it is wood and acrylic so make sure to put another screw at the bottom to anchor it a little bit better to the wall. It hangs about 2 feet above the floor so we could just see our little girl pulling on it and having the thing falling and hitting her. Other than that fact I'd be giving it 5 stars because its such a cute idea and matches very well with the rest of Kids Line Inc. Barnyard accessories.
