For kids who like working with their hands and creating what's in their minds, this is a perfect introduction to puppets that are just a bit more sophisticated than hand types. The children I've shown the tape and have worked with realy feel they've accomplished something. Using household products with balsa wood dowls and sty. balls make the projects easy for parents to supervise, or teachers to implement in class rooms. As a parent who's watched her son, 5, create characters that are more inticate every time, I recommend this tape as an aid to esteem-building as well.
