This book was exactly what I was looking for when teaching ages 3-6 in a summer camp program entitled Art Around the World. It has child appropriate activities and represents various cultures. I am happy to have made the purchase and grateful to its content.

I checked this book out from the library, along with The Kids Multicultural Cook Book. My daughter (age 6) loves both and keeps asking to make things out of the book. She has so much fun with it that she doesn't even realize she is learning or doing school work.

Ultimately I couldn't renew these books at the library anymore and she is still actively involved with both of them, so I ended up buying them. Food & crafts that kids can do on their own and that teaches them about other cultures and countries? Can't beat that!

I checked this book out from the library and now I'm buying it. Planning to "Gallop the Globe" (another book) with my kids this school year and I've purchased many craft books over the last few years to add to our units on various cultures and this one is the best one for us so far. The crafts seem more on target for the cultures than many of the other books I've found. These crafts are actual crafts FROM the cultures, not just someone's idea of what symbolizes that culture.
