The asthma friendly stuffed animals are SO soft. I gave this tiger to a friend's little boy well over a year ago and he is still packing it around. He named it 'Stripes' and keeps it with him whenever he is scared and needs comfort or just to be his friend.
When I received it, I immediately ordered several more to give as gifts. They are a really nice size and so very soft. It is also comforting that they are asthma friendly as you never know if the child you are giving it to has an asthma or allergy problem.

I ordered one of these for my daughter who struggled with asthma a couple years ago. We were ordered by her doctor to get rid of stuffed animals or to put them in the freezer once a week. So we got rid of her animals and I bought this one after reading it is allergy friendly, although they didn't specify exactly why. When it arrived and I read the pamphlet that came with it, they still didn't specify why it was allergy friendly. Was it not treated with any chemicals or fire retardants? Was it all organic? Did it have a dust mite resistant batting inside? It didn't claim any of these, which means none of them are likely to be true. The directions told me to put the animal in the freezer every month or so, just about the same as regular stuffed animals. So, what's so special about these "allergy friendly" animals? I have no idea.... the verdict is still out.
They would be better off filling it with beans or something of that nature (dust mite, mold and bacteria prohibitive) and covering it with organic fabric not treated with chemicals. That is what I would consider to be allergy friendly. Also, after about 5 months, the leg started to tear away from the body. We stitched it up and all has been good since, but we tell my daughter to be careful with it. I think there are better, more non toxic solutions to stuffed animals on the internet by now. Next time I need one, I will not buy one of these.
