If you love the book and the movie you need this snowman! The quality is beautiful and he is so huggably soft! I appreciated the care in which he was packed and sent too.

When our son was little his favorite stuffed animal was Frosty The Snowman. He is now 16 and for Christmas I ordered a new Snowman for him as his final gift which we included cash. (To be honest, I think I ordered it for me and not him)

The Snowman is very plush, cute and durable. It washes extremely well and puffs right back up. I recommend this Snowman for all children big and small.

I cannot recommend this lovey strongly enough. Our girls loved the video (now on DVD), altho we first discovered this magical story in book form. When our youngest was a baby and cared for parttime by Grandma, she was given this Snowman by her beloved grandmother. Our daughter took it to the hospital with her when she had to stay overnight twice as a young child. She is 20 now and away at a music conservatory, but the Snowman still stays on her bed and she sleeps with it when she is home. Her grandmother passed away a few months ago and I know this very soft, cuddly Snowman will always mean so much more to our daughter than just another stuffed animal.

It is very durable and goes easily thru the washing machine in a pillowcase and also the dryer on delicate.

Re: the video recording, I have worked at schools where the preschoolers would not go to sleep at nap time without the teachers playing this video. I just ordered 3 copies of the DVD, including one for the 5 mo. old across the street. I gave the family the board book of The Snowman before Luke was born and the mom told me last night at a holiday party how much they have enjoyed it. Now he is getting the DVD from us!

If you are looking for a gift with the true spirit of the holidays to last all year long you cannot do better than a Snowman product, but I most recommend the DVD and this large plush lovey.

This Snowman arrived clean and fluffy and right on time. We gave it to our Granddaughter at Christmas and she loved it. She took it with her on a holiday car trip. It's great for Winter as we have had snow and she can relate it to what's happening outside. She's only 17 mo. old. We also gave her the matching video. Still a little young for this but she can sit still and point to familiar things on the video and likes the music. CQ

I bought this Snowman for my 1-year old granddaughter. She is in a phase of loving plush toys, and this snowman has a wonderful feel to it. I'm hoping this toy will give her hours of enjoyment.

My daughter received this stuffed animal 8 years ago when she was born. My son kept asking for it and I didn't think I would find it. Amazingly, I found it on Amazon.com. I was so excited. My son loves Frosty. He is so soft. Both my son & daughter sleep with their snowmen every night.

This beautiful "toy" perfectly represents the character of this wonderful book. A great companion piece.

I bought this Snowman for my 2yr old granddaughter as well as the Snowman DVD. She watched the DVD then I sneaked the Snowman onto her pillow so that when she went to bed it was waiting for her. She was totally in awe of the Snowman appearing in her bed! She loves it and I do, too. It's very soft and looks exactly like the one in the movie.

'Snowy' was one of the first things my son ever bought with his own money (at age 5) from one of the many book stores I have dragged him to over the years since his birth in 1996. 'Snowy' became an immediate beloved friend to him and still has a special place, as do all snowmen, in his heart despite the advancing age of them both! My wife has had to wash 'Snowy' a few times but he has held up well.

My son got a Snowman 11 years ago, when he was a baby. It was his favorite stuffed thing. It finally got too threadbare to wash again, so it was replaced years ago. At about the same time, he got a larger Snowman, who is about 2-1/2 feet tall and shares a bed with my son.

This last Christmas, Santa brought him a new 13" Snowman (his third of this size). It looks exactly the same as the others until you get up close and personal; then you notice that the materials are a bit different. They're no better or worse, just different.

The hat and scarf on the older Snowmen were felt; this one has a hat and scarf made of some kind of woven material, but of the same colors the older ones. The older Snowmens' bodies were a bit softer, which probably contributed to their threadbare appearance today; the new one has material that feels a bit more substantial.

Even at age 11, my son still takes Snowman along on overnights and vacations.

No matter the slight change in materials, and no matter whether a kid (or a non-kid) has read the book on which they're based, Snowman is cute, and I don't know a single child that has owned one that hasn't loved it.
