The bundled software is mostly a "teaser" version. The software dangles some useful functions in front of you, but you'll have to upgrade the software to get to them. That's not too surprising for a $60 camera, but it's frustrating anyway.
I was also disappointed in how difficult it is to change the batteries in this camera. I had to use an eyeglass screwdriver to get the battery compartment open. The entire assembly looks and feels very flimsy. Ugh.
It has a Batman logo on it
Badly designed battery compartment
I am sending this camera back today.
After two sets of batteries and 4 images, we realized that the thing was eating batteries when it wasn't even on! Unfortunately rechargable batteries (or removing the batteries when it is not in use) is not an option- the batter cover is flimsly attached by an electrical wire and requires a small screwdriver to access.
I contacted the phone number printed on the device (good luck finding any real contact info in the supplied documentation). They listed to my problem and told me to write them a letter! I wrote the letter, including the info as instructed. Half a month went by- still no response. I called them today. I was told it takes 10 business days. I explain that it has been well over 10 business days including ample time for the letter to reach them and a response to get to me. Then I found out they can't help me- I need to write another letter. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor explained the same thing. I asked her to put herself in my shoes- what does this say about your company's support? She understood but was unable to help (the warehouse is responsible for this (!!!) not customer service. I asked to speak to her supervisor. That person wasn't around, but I could call back....
I am going to contact DC/Warner about my disatisfaction with the licensee of their brand. This is a disgrace of a toy from a joke of a toy company. The only thing I think they manufacure, from reading these other reviews is a child's disappointment.
Needless to say, Wal-Mart will be getting this back! It's too bad I can't give 0 stars on here!
i called tech support, and they said they'd exchange it because the camera was eating batteries. finally, after a half hour on the phone. all i have to say is... batman would not approve of this camera. it's loud, unrealiable, and bundled with irritating software. do not buy it.

Don't be seduced by the cool package. The camera is poorly made. The shutter button and battery compartment door both broke within a few days. Read morePublished on December 28, 2005 by A. Meyer
