I have been following Blaize's Dixie Hemingway books, along with her recently published Dance of the Moon Daughter. This is something much different but incredibly entertaining to read..these series of short stories range from happy-go-lucky to sad and sometimes strange, but definitely kept me on the edge of my seat! I look forward to her future works!

What a surprising gem of a book. Blaize Clement is a fantastic story teller. The stories range from downright hysterical to absolutely heartbreaking. I was curious what her other stuff would be like outside of the Dixie Hemingway mysteries, and I'm pleased to say it's just as absorbing! I highly recommend this one.

It was a series of short stories - some I liked, some not so good. Kids Stay Free is one of the stories.
