We hung this on our wall to check off each National Park as we visit them. It's colorful and cute.

We purchased this for a road trip from PA to FL for our 4 year old. It was exactly what I was looking for. She was able to follow along on the map. She now know all of the states that we travelled through on our trip. She felt like she had a map just like Mom and Dad's!

For the price this was a really good buy for families that travel with children. Supplies lots of great activities to pass the time.

I got this for my 2 year old nephew and he LOVES it!! Now he's beginning to learn all the states' names - he can already point out Georgia from the little peach drawing on the state. It's colorful, eyecatching, and the paper is thick enough to not rip easily. The back of it has all kinds of games - maybe when he is older we will tackle that side. For now, the map is good enough!!

I bought this for my 4 year old son to hang on his wall in his bedroom, we go over a few states each day and this map has really helped him to learn to identify many of the different states. The map is big and colorful. We had gotten much good use out of it, and for the price, you can't beat that!

This map may be designed for children, but it should be accurate. I don't have it on hand to look at now, since it was a Christmas gift for a child, but I do know that it shows a rocket blasting off from near the southern tip of FL, no where near Cape Canaveral, and it also shows a steam boat in the center of the state of MS, not close to the Mississippi River. I have lost confidence in Rand McNally because this is the second purchase I have made that contain gross errors.

This is quite nicely presented, but it's just a thin paper map and it won't last long. Perhaps one or two journeys before it gets holes in all the corners etc! It retails for $1.95 according to the map itself, but Amazon sold it to me for $3.95! I felt like I got ripped off there...

Amazon charges $3.94 for this item. It's barely worth the $1.95 that is stamped on the upper right hand corner of the map by Rand McNally themselves. Pretty much a rip off. I should have sent it back.
