Product was blue instead of white, but it was no problem. Both the apron and hat have room to grow into -- it's easy enough to adjust the apron by tying the neck loop a little smaller, and the chef hat has a Velcro patch on the hat band so you can adjust that easily as well. I admit, I was a little wary of the price in relation to the quality of the product. That feeling vanished as soon as I received the product. My seven-year-old nephew is very happy with this set and so am I! He'll definitely be able to get years of use out of this nice cotton apron and chef hat set. The price can't be beat!

Before I bought this set I've already bought 12 set from KNG for my daughter's coming birthday party. KNG only sell their items in multiples of 6. Since I only needed three more sets so I took the risk to order this one to save few dollars.

I am not pleased with its quality at all, very thin, very see through and the color is not pure white. I should have just order 6 more from KNG!!! Children's chef hat from KNG is $3.06 and apron is $2.62 as of September 2009. The quality is great.

Now I am not sure I want to give this chef hat and apron to any of my daughter's friends. They look too cheap, especially compare to the other brand. I might just use the hat, and get three more aprons from the local craft shop.

I should have been skeptical when I saw the inexpensive price. The fabric (if you can call it "fabric") is so thin and flimsy...it's practically see-through! I would return it, but it's not worth spending the money on the postage to do so.

Fabric very light weight. Sizing for older kids only--not what I expected. Disappointing.

This went over really big with my granddaughter in 1st grade. She thought she was a queen in her chef outfit. She made rat potatoes from a child's cooking book I also sent her. The tail was onion stem I think and had whiskers and eyes in the potato. The inside was stuffed with good stuff. She made them for her family. Her older sister baked he potatoes in the microwave. They would have been nice in oven too and the potato shell more crispy. They all loved them and they joked about having mice for dinner on their FB pages for the older girls. I think the granddaughter also took one to school for lunch the next day as well in her Bento Box.

She can wear this apron and hat in the kitchen to help mom and to learn to cook at any time. It was a really bit hit and not much cost to me. It was a great gift idea.

I have read about a mom who gave her daughter a Cooking Competition for birthday party and all the guests got a hat and apron and a spatula or rolling pin. They made their own pizzas. They had certain ingredients to compete in 2 groups with an adult helper and then had a tasting to see which group did the best and had an award for everyone. Mini cakes were there for the kids to decorate to take home and everyone had a piece of cake and icecream that were already prepared. The kids had food, fun, and nice gifts to take home from the party. They rented a commercial kitchen for their party. (Maybe a cooking school). The mother was a journalist and wrote up the party in the food section of the paper and it looked fantastic which gave me the idea of sending cook books and the hat and apron to my granddaughter who could wear it.

Purchased this for my five year grandson for Xmas, he loves to bake, and he looks adorable in it.

My son wanted a kitchen and chef hat for Christmas. Santa brought both. He plays with the kitchen for hours and always wears his hat and apron. He can't be in the kitchen without it.

I ordered this set for my daughter's cooking birthday party. It is perfect, because I can customize them for each child as their party favor!

Practically came overnight! Was expecting a little thicker material but I may not have read the details that were advertised. Last minute Christmas shopping and all. But the service, OMG.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for our nephew. It is unbelievably difficult to find children sized chef hats and ones that don't have seasonal prints on them, so it was great to find this one and it was reasonably priced as well. The kit was delivered quite swiftly which was handy since we were under a time crunch for Christmas.
