February 2009I am a single Mom of a 3 year old boy, nursing student and also work as a Pharmacy Technician. I was finding it increasingly difficult to manage conflicts with my son's Father over custody schedules, child support and a consistent and effective approach to co-parenting. I needed advice and support, but did not have the time, or resources to hire or meet with an attorney. I became frustrated and worried over how I was going to manage my way to healthy resolve. A friend recommended KidsFirst! and I reviewed the program. For the first time, I was encouraged to discover a concise program of guidelines, templates and legal descriptions, formatted to satisfy not only my questions, but the legal requirements of working toward resolving our issues. More importantly, I could access the program as my time and schedule allowed from anywhere. The direction and confidence I felt in having KidsFirst!, as my resource and support through our parenting resolution, has been priceless. It eliminated much of my fear and frustration, allowing for a calm approach to our specific issues, and the peace of mind to know we had the tools for maneuvering through the legal system.
