In one sense, there isn't much we can say about a growth chart. After all, if the measurements are correct (and these are, we checked), it's doing its job, right? Fortunately, this whimsical animal themed five-foot chart from Kids Line offers plenty of fun bonuses that push it past a measuring tape in terms of attractiveness. It features a patchwork design approach with a basic pastel green background set off by various plaid patterns and zigzags. A friendly menagerie of animals--zebra, crocodile, giraffe, and cougar--frolic at various heights on the chart. Small picture frames are provided to demonstrate the growth of the child and although the heights at which they are posted might not necessarily match up with the ages printed on the frames the pictures will add a nice personal touch. --Charlie Williams

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the growth chart. It was much nicer than I was expecting! I was looking online, and found some that cost as much as $136 (can you believe that...for a growth chart!?!?!?!), and decided I would order this one since it matched the lamp we bought for our daughter's nursery. I love this growth chart, and am very happy. Love the little picture frames!

I have the bedding set but I didn't register for this growth chart because I was planning on painting a mural in the room and was going to include one in the mural. However, I received it as a shower gift and decided to keep it. I like that it has places for photos at various ages. I can also take it with me if I move. It hangs easily with two picture frame hooks but it doesn't seem very stable. Also the middle part with the hinge doesn't stay flat against the wall. I wish it started out a little shorter that 23 inches so that I could put my son's length at birth, 21 inches, however there is room to write it in as a note at the bottom. Overall I would recommend it because it is very cute and will be functional once my son grows a few inches. It will also make a great keepsake for when he is older.

This is a very cute item. I placed our son's picture and he'll walk over and point at it from time to time. It's adorable. My husband used special nails or hangers for these, so that it would stay secure.
