I just absolutely love the whole line of this product. We are not finding out the gender of our baby and my husband and I are scuba divers. We thought this would be perfect for our nursery. I too was wondering how long the border is. I called my local store and found out it is 10 yards (30 feet) long. Hope this helps some of you.

Sea Life - Curtains, switchplate & nightlight,

I wasn't able to find this set on any other websites either. I called KidsLine Inc directly at (310)660-0110. There is a matching switchplate & nightlight but they won't be in stores until this November'05. There are also matching curtains which are not listed anywhere in the store or on the website - but they have to be special ordered directly from babies r us. They come 2 panels in a package with tie-backs and are 84" long by 54" wide for approx $45.99 per set. Delivery time is 5 to 7 weeks.

Hard to put up,

I do love the border, but the directions could be better on how to put it up. You really have to soak it, and then hold it forever before it fully sticks. Once it's up, however, it's up and looks great!

Beautiful border,

This border looks very nice, but is hard to work with. The center part of the border sticks well, but the scallops are difficult. I didn't have another option because I wanted everything to match. Plus, I painted the bottom half of the wall blue and the top half light teal and needed something to help it blend together. I bought this set before I found out I was having a girl. I will still work well since the family loves the water. The best thing I found when putting this border up is to take a sponge and go in a circular motion on the scallops.

Hard to hang, but looks GREAT!!,

We purchased the border to match the bedding. When putting it up the center stuck without any problems. The scalops took forever to get to stick. We found it much easier to not wet the border and put paste made for pre pasted walpaper on the wall and border to make the scalops stick. It is now up and looks great. Worth all the hard work.

Looks Great,

I have this border up in my son's room. The bottom half of the wall is dark blue (the blue in the border) the top half of the room is cream. We got creative, we painted a few light orange squares in the cream area. Then we cut out squared portions of the border and placed them on the squares, creating a frame. It looks great. I even used a fish net as his valance, and placed stuff animal crabs in it. We also cut the waves off the top and bottom of the wall border and placed them around the window, creating a wave frame. We had fun with his room and it looks great. Oh and it wasn't hard to put it up just smooth with a wet towel and an extra person is a plus. Enjoy.

It will take some time -- but worth it in the end!,

This border really was the PERFECT addition to our nursery. We do not know the gender of the baby and we painted the top half the teal color in the wallpaper and the bottom the darker blue. It is amazing how the border just pulls these colors and the room together. Since we read everyone's reviews we used wall paper glue (the kind that rolls on) and didn't even mess with getting this wet. We (like everyone else) had issues with the scallops. We put up the whole border 1st then went back and with a tiny brush put extra glue on the scallops. It took a very long time -- but in the end it looks WONDERFUL. WE LOVE IT!!

Difficult to hang, but worth the work!,

My husband and I just hung up this border, and I have to agree with the other reviews. We automatically used an adhesive, (based on what the other reviews said) and still had a difficult time with the scallops. We let the border dry and now the scallops are stuck to the wall, but for some reason, they wouldn't stick before. But all in all, we are THRILLED with the way it looks and can't wait to get the rest of the decorations!

The perfect accent,

We chose the Sea Life nursery theme for our new son's room and we're so happy that we spent the time and effort to put up this adorable border! It looks great with cherry wood and white walls (in our situation). Like other reviewers have said, it wasn't easy to put up, but I can't imagine that wallpapering/bordering ever is. We just used water instead of wallpaper paste and didn't have too much trouble with it. Like everyone else, the scalloped edges were a bit of a pain, but with a thorough soaking (again, after it was already on the wall) we were able to get them all to stick down. The only tiny problem with the product that we found was after trying to match edges after going around corners, the scalloped edges didn't always match up perfectly with the printed pattern on the border, so you had to decide which was more important (matching the scallops or getting the match-up on the pattern perfect). But despite that, we still give this a strong 5 stars!
